I saw that part of the movie (Thanks for the link btw) and it sinces that Indie was very surprised to see a T.rex or something that is allmost the same size of her, Indie was more smart so she knew that it was best to avoid a fight to someone that is allmost the same size, but Rexy is less intelligent but far more agressive, and indeed she tryed to comunicate with Rexy but it failed, even so, the one that bites first was Rexy, in short terms the whole scene was something like this:
Indy: *trying to grab Owen and the kids* Come here you little fuckers! i have been trying to hunt you down during all the damn movie! *see a flare hitting her and Rexy comming* what the--?!
Rexy: *enters breaking the spino's skeleton* What the... WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU??!!
Indy: *backs off* Holly shit! ... ehhh... i don't want any problem here!
Rexy: *can't understand nothing of what Indy says* I gonna pummel the shit out of you, so get lost!
Indy: *tries to copy what Rexy sayed* I gonna pummel the shit out of you, so get lost!
Rexy: THATS IT!!
And the fight starts and you know the rest XD

This theory certainly sounds plausible,and if Indy was trying to imitate Rexy’s roar then it could be highly probable that she didn’t have the faintest idea what the heck she was even saying to Rexy,remember Indy had never tried to speak in Rex until that point,so she was likely just repeating what she had heard Rexy say without having the slightest idea was that roar even meant to begin with,Rexy let out a highly aggressive roar,& Indy simply tried to mimic it(and now I’m thinking that Rexy’s roar might have been her spewing out insults at Indy,and Indy accidentally said them back,either that or Indy’s roar was T. Rex for “your mom had Dino Fleas” or something like that)also the fact that her sibling was male brings up questions about the whole idea of “let’s make an island tourist attraction park with dinosaurs but only female ones“ thing
I noticed that also. As many times as I've watched the ending scene, Indy did seem surprised, and initially less aggressive towards Rexy. That was also one of the first things I caught, Indy's "reply roar" was very similar to Rexy's. With Indy being so young, and Rexy much older and having free reign over Nublar for so many years between JP1 and JW, I'm sure its the same as a young lion invading the territory of a resident adult. Of course the resident adult lion will straight up attack the younger lion. I'm sure that's what the deal was with Rexy not caring about communicating with Indy. She just wanted the newcomer gone.
Kind of makes sense.
But maybe the I.rex wanted to become the new alpha over Rexy like she did with the Raptors.
But a T.rex would of course never subordinate to another creature since Rexy is already an alpha predator. So Rexy was a little "pissed" about that.

I think the I-rex's soft roar was either because she was surprised or because she was telling the T-rex she was busy. Given the T-rex initially only fought for territory, the I-rex could have just knocked her on the ground and then backed off if she wanted to make friends with Rexy. But she didn't, she was going to kill Rexy. Not the kind of behaviour you have toward someone you want to dominate and make into a pack-mate.

I kind of feel sorry for the Indominus now. At every point in her short life she tried to make dinosaurian friends. But it always backfires. First the Raptor pack eventually disobey her in killing the humans. A species which I think caused her and her deceased sibling so much pain when they were younger. So naturally she would hate humans and not surprisingly want to kill them and make them suffer like she did. The Raptor pack didn't help her kill Owen and the others which obviously angered her they would side with such a cruel and horrible species. I think she acts out of anger when she hits Blue. Then realised her mistake as she pauses. The other Raptors attack her. The Indominus acts in self defence at that point. Then Rexy appears. She tries to make a new ally and even that does not work. I don't blame her for being so angry when at every turn everything turns against her just for the seemingly simple fact of her trying to get potential justice or revenge and just survive.

Josh-themighty true i felt so bad for her she was abused in a lab and she killed her own brother probably because of stress she also had no parents no friends no mates. So i gess her life was too short and too sad.

Rexy either saw indi as a competitor for food or territory and just acted on her instincts to kill indi.
Rexy might have thought Indy was trying to take over, the T. rex is like the king of the land, Rexy might have thought it was competition.
Rexy actually understood the I rex. But she did not help her because of one main thing

I like ur theory tbh, and also I would love the idea of Universal actually confirming to us that Indy was befriending Rexy. Maybe Indy accidently swore in T-Rex language and Rexy got offended and attacked her. Too bad Indy died though, she would’ve made a good friend with Rexy. Like they could both rule the island together. Now Rexy is all alone like she is. Poor Rexy. Rexy must be thinking: “what was that white T-Rex with long arms saying to me?”

Rexy seems to think she was a Territorial threat. The only Rex packs we've seen in the Jurassic movies have been Mated pairbonds. Assuming Tyrannosaurus Ingenisis only involves itself in a pack if they are pairbonds, then another Large Female Tyrannosaurid in Rexys territory would be a perceived threat.
Had Indi known the Rex mating call, she may have gained an ally.
I think Rexy was saying "This is my territory." I-rex was saying "Who the fuck are you?" once the T-rex learned that this wasn't a Territory Squabble but a Fight to the Death, she fought a LOT harder.

My theory was Rexy was focused on the flare that landed near Indy and then soon as she saw Indy she felt threatened and attacked I don’t think if the flare was removed from the equation maybe Indy would have been able to communicate with Rexy better.

Actually, I got the impression the I-Rex wasn't trying to befriend Rexy, just get her on her side like she did the Raptor Squad since her base genome was T-Rex DNA. However, the moment Rexy started tearing at her, that's when she realized that wasn't gonna work in a long shot and just went to the tried and true method of fangs and claws.

i still loved how Blue and Rexy fought back in tandem against Indy. that was the best part of the whole movie.
It was also a good thing for rexy because the indom would have killed rexy if it weren’t for blue
Always felt bad for Indi. She didn't know what she was. She didn't ask to be created. When she got ganged up on in her final scene I was literally frowning while the theater cheered.

Just imagine what hell would break lose if Rexy and the Indominus teamed up...
They probably did communicate in their own way, but Rexy sees herself as a lone predator and the flare probably made her more aggressive as well. But Indie did try to communicate some. Guess we'll never know.

I believe Indy was intimidated by Rexy, and used communication as a way to back out. She probably thought “Oh no, this thing is my size, and will probably put up a fight.” She thought that she was invincible killing smaller things (besides those apatosaurus or whatever they were), and therefore didn’t have problem with the raptors. You can’t really blame her, I mean I would be intimidated by something hlaf the size of me that I have never seen before in my life.
I still firmly believe Rexy loves people, she just suffers heavily from macular degeneration as a side effect from faulty genetic mapping. I struggle to think of any particular instance in which Rexy herself, actually killed someone intentionally aside from the lawyer who in fairness was wearing white and sitting on a toilet and screaming, might have been mistaken for a goat...

Rexy probably didnt care,because Rexy never saw an animal like Indy and Indy did look a bit scarier and bigger. Rexy might have felt like Indy was more of a threat and Rexy didnt team up or anything because she's never really been social.

Ok, the reason rexy attacked was because Claire threw the light at the indominus and that triggered rexy, but still remember when all of a sudden indominus attacked Blue and killed the other raptors.
I kinda feel sorry for Indy coz her entire life and birth was only there to satisfy the parks visitors.Shes not even a thing but she exists.

Most likely is that she was scared because she had never seen something like her so she tried to back down, not knowing if she could fight both rexy and Blue. She then realized that the rex wasn’t as powerful as her, since she had taken down much larger prey, so she went aggressive instead, where she died. xD

Or they were simply challenging eachother to become the new alpha of the island. Because before the I-REX up to this point has believed itself to be the top of the food chain on the island. But rexy would not know of the I-Rex because she has been in captivity so suddenly bringing out a new predator as big and as much of a threat would surely make the 2 want to fight for the top spot on the island

Something I find interesting:
We have a dog. Small dog. West highland terrier. He's male and is actually like 16 now so he's pretty old. We also have a new dog. Wheaton terrier. She's female and only a year and a half old. A few years back, my older brother and his girlfriend had a dog too. Female black lab german shepard mix who was a year older than our old dog. We would often mind his dog and when we did, the two dogs would just sniff each other for a second then lie down and sleep. They barely even noticed each other and we could leave them alone for hours without any fear of there being an incident. Now, we can barely leave our own two dogs together in the same room. The younger one is constantly trying to play with the older one but he's just too old now and could easily get hurt and that would be the end of him. He also isn't very friendly with her either. Why is this the case? We it's probably because our brother's dog was an old female dog. Our old dog is always unhappy with other male dogs being in his space, but he had absolutely no problem with our brother's dog lying on his bed with him, something our own dog could never get away with. Now take Rexy and Indy. Rexy is an old female whereas Indy is a young female. There's clearly some kind of power dynamic there beyond just raw power, especially since Indy is mostly Trex.
Indiminus: I can easily beat these velociraptor's and trex, and even continue to kill that group of humans down there. Buuuut... I think I'll let them get a few hits in while I try to talk to em. Maybe they will listen, even though, once again. None of us have the brain capacity for this.

The Indominus Rex might have felt threatened by T-Rex (Tiny arms) and she may have tried to weaken the T-Rex so then they could slowly calm down instead of fighting and be friends like how she talked to the Raptors instead of killing them

Well being part raptor she needed a pack mate and thats what the sibling was for but they also put t.rex DNA in the indominus and like Alteori said t.rex are solitary animals so at some point indy must have seen her sibling as competition and ate it but made her dysfunctional.
I think you're right. I've seen some material on why blue is the predominant color for Jurassic World( like David Deida's Blue Truth, it is the deeper unfettered meaning to things), even Blue herself and her bond with Owen. So while Indy is the great white shark/Moby Dick of this movie, she has a deeper meaning and truth to her- not just a tourist attraction, she was created to be a weapon. And while causing unbelievable carnage during her rampage, she tried to form alliances/bonds with the Deinonychi and it seems plausible that she did try to communicate with Rexy. So on the surface she appears to nothing more than an unstoppable killing machine, but dig deeper and we start seeing glimpses of the truth-
Looking for companionship, a pack perhaps? JP Game Warden Robert Muldoon's words come to mind "When she looks at you, you can see she's figuring things out", and that's what I think Indy was doing when Claire and Masrani first set eyes on her thru the viewing port.

I feel sad for her. And that's why I give her a nice life in my own park in JWE2 - and I have to say that she is one of my most gentle dinosaurs. In fact she never broke out even if she easily could.

Well it makes SENSE because Indy is part of T-Rex so she doesn't know how to "talk" like Rexy and didn't understand what she is talking and you know the rest.
Rexy, is probably too old to try to care about the Indominus, she was born way before the trial run for the original park and she was probably used to being alone at one point.

It could that even though the I rex tried to befriend rexie, but since we have only seen rexes together with mates or babies, we can assume rexes would be aggressive to other rexes and rexie would have attacked the Indominus as a territorial dispute.

This is gonna feel like a recap of the video.. Indominus just met Rexy, someone who's almost the same size, and a bit of the same species. The Indominus has never met another predator like herself. Being social she communicates, but Rexy has never talked to another T.Rex, perhaps she just doesn't understand what the Indominus is saying. Rexy could also think of the Indominus as a threat to her territory, food or something else. Maybe she doesn't want another apex predator on her land.

Well, to be honest, they could technically ALL communicate, since they all use base animal DNA instead of just using the DNA all from the amber if that makes sense.

Watching the movie again. There is a part of the movie where the workers throw a flare at a goat to get the t-Rex’s attention to food. As when Claire throws the flare at Indy it replicates that there is possible food for the rex
Useually if a predator (in this case rexy) see's another predator (being Indi) they're immediate response is to try to scare it away and if that fails the predator will start a fight with the other one. For example if a Lion finds another Lion it does not recognize as part of it's pride it will try to scare it or chase it away and if that fails the two lions will fight and who ever wins has to leave so with that logic we can at least try to assume Rexy was trying get Indi to leave and when that failed she attacked.
Take from this what you will.

With the raptors, certainly. But I dunno with the rex. If you compare how she talks with Blue and gang there's hardly any high vocals, just chittering and growling. They seem to be at the same level and it's not aggressive. With the T.rex there was only roaring. I don't believe Indy was trying to appeal to her.
Dinoslay well indie only ever saw rexy roar but she did see the raptors communicate through chittering and growls, so it would make sense for her to roar a high and not threatening roar and chitter and growl the way the raptor do to communicate with each species
So I think rexy attacked the indominus because it might of seen the place where it was living as it's territory and seeing this strange new-comer she reacts appropriately to a possible invader and although the indominus could possibly be trying to talk to her and in your words "telling rexy to stand down" say this strange never before seen creature and it tells you to stand down then you are already admitting defeat and you as from you know you're the top predator and this creature is basically saying I'm stronger you would take that as a challenge and rexy is saying "get the hell off my land" and the indominus is "hey just stand down" "say what!?" "You have 5 seconds" "please just stand down" "Screw You!!!" That's why I think they started fighting

Rely wanted some food so when indominus tried to talk to rexy to team with rexy, rexy didn’t care so rexy tried to eat indominus but when indominus tried to fight back rexy realised it was a fight.
