Still looking for info on scenes, snippets, cues for show-control. It needs to hold up against an A&H Avantis ecosystem or else it's just a hardware DAW to run Waves-only plugins. Would be nice if it could open up like performer and run any VST3.
@@christophermonk4879 yeah buts not packed into one single unit or rack. You need the server, io box, and computer. Imagine having this as single compact rack where all you need to do it plug in a external touch screen monitor to the rack and you are ready to go 👀 one can only wish haha
If you do promo for a product, use at least two cameras for both scenes (one on speaking subject, other on the product screen). Now you use one camera with cropped in factor, zooming onto the screen and video get basically blurry and pixelated, and cant understand a thing that is shown on the screen. I expect better execution from a company, making billions in sales and subscriptions.
@waves thank you! Barely any MADI experience for me yet, ive seen the little module from a Digico to MADI and connected to dante but did not know the chain. Thanks so much from a future LV1 customer!
I too was wondering why 2/3 of the screen is wasted on displaying faders that are already there in hardware? Probably an unfortunate oversight in adapting the thing from a software to a hardware console.
Since its running windows there is properly a way to get a Dante drive on the computer and use the motherboards ethernet port to send out a dante signal. But i am not sure haha:)
was wondering the same thing dante is kinda a no brainer now with so much integration of devices in a system. Installs especially are now primarily dante based.
@@louisoppenheimer6618unfortunately they may never do that. Lots of $$ R&D to get it integrated, and the selling point of being able to do it all in house: Waves Trackslive for multitrack recording & playback. No need for integration with a DAW as u have all Waves plugins on the desk
Dante option would make this a great broadcast console!!!! The Hear Technologies sound grid to Dante bridge is 3k.

@@johnmcvicker6728 what are u looking for? Check LV1's user guide, it's no different.
Now i want to watch The Big Lebowski
2:29 wow custom fader layers, how revolutionary...
The wing does that
now make a Rack version with no physical faders or touch screen with ethernet control xD
They already do……that’s basically the original
@@christophermonk4879 no sit sherlock !

This was so nice. I loved the formfactor and the size and the faders where realy nice too
Edit: Sorry for my absolutely terrible English
i like it, but... why do i see the faders on the screen when i have them physically on the surface? thats just redundant in a bad way

Alot of BIG companies can learn from some of the great smaller content creators on youtube haha
The dream of all Waves users.
Nice!!
the price? spec wise is equivelant to a A&H Avantis (inputs/outputs)....
$8k
5k is were this would become the new standard for midrange consoles
@@TylerMarletteNY😂 yeah this ain’t going to be 5k
@@TylerMarletteNY Maybe it "goes on Sale!!" like other Waves sales - which happen, every few hours.
Whats up with Dante options though
You can connect to Dante and MADI devices via SoundGrid-to-Dante and SoundGrid-to-MADI expansion devices.
LOL

And he still uses a Digico SD7 on all his gigs 🙂
Pooch mostly uses Digico 😂
They should get rid of the faders on the screen since there’s actual faders there. Give me more channel info instead of

Nice
Awesome. Is there an app for iPad and other devices that can control it remotely?

Hear Technologies, Sound grid to Dante bridge. However it is $3,000.00

The form factors is a big disappointment. You should've made this thing foldable.
Easy handel waves console
Is it WATERPROOF...Cause I'm DROOLING right now..!

He has said in the past if it doesn’t require DiGiCo channels counts the LV1 is his go to
