The soldier in 13:46 is wearing what will be the future standard combat uniform of the IDF, it first goes to special forces and then to standard infantry. Take notice that the soldier also carries the new Negev model called Negev NG7, its weights less, less recoil, more accurate but more expensive. But quality comes of course at a price. The Negev NG7 is the new standard MG of the IDF.

The IDF is a strong army. They do everything to prevent civil victims, because that's what the jewish law teaches them. But sometimes they forget that is not their skills and technology that brings them victory. There is a God beside them that gives miracles every day and they should appreciate Him more! Go Israel!
I'm an American born in the USA and if there is one thing I have learned it is that you MrllanKudlis are RIGHT about the myth of this, "Palastine". palastine was what the Romans called Israelites back then. Why not design a scout helicopter that specializes in hunting snipers? The best weapon to use would be a laser guided missle with a high explosive fragmentation warhead. You would want to have ground based laser operators who could mark the target as well as a designator in the helicopter. The best sensing mechanism would be infared/thermal.

The Israeli's need to be careful about what they're getting themselves into.. Israel can't do this forever. The Palestinians can. I understand why both sides are fighting though. Israel is expanding and stepping on too many toes in the process, so the Gaza Strip and West Bank will keep fighting harder. The most technologically advanced army in history versus an endless number of militants. Doesn't look good.
