I wish they would just make it where if you completely campaign you unlock everything in sandbox
I wish they would just make it like Jurassic Park Evolution where it was more focused on making a park, and you unlock dinosaurs by doing excavations solely... I want to manage a dinosaur zoo with shops, fun rides and everything, I'm not interested on doing campaigns, chaos modes, challenges...
@@TuriusRay just play through challenge mode on easy and you get 5 stars in about 30 minutes and you will be unlocking dinosaurs like crazy.
Where’s the fun in that if there’s no challenge there’s no fun
@@mitchellneuhoff9946 I don't say it should have no challenge, you can play like I say, but there can be storms, hurricanes, tornados, dino rampages that break the fence... but I want that happening on a persistent map, the park I care about, not in a game that I will not come back once I completed the challenge... I don't know how to explain better, English is not my motherly language :S

I would have bough day 1 if there would be a real sandbox, now i have to wait for a 100% savegame until i buy it, i fucking hate forced unlock stuff, i just want to look at dinos and chill.

I bought it for my 6 year old. I never played any of the other game-modes in the first game, but now I have to play through this crap so my son can play around. Yeay.
I'm still not sure how I feel about everything being so damn expensive. especially research and digs. I could understand synthesizing dinosaurs maybe, but not that.
That's why you need to play your scientists right.
@@cristhianmlr Yeah, it took me a couple of scenarios before I realized it's OK to fire scientists, hire ones with better stats and then max out their training as much as possible

Some dinosaurs are limited to certain challenge maps. That's why you couldn't see acrocanthosaurus or majungasaurus in the research tab

Majungasaurus you can get through the JP chaos theory though, at least I have on on there

I’m very conflicted about how I feel for these requirements. On one hand it gets me to play majority of the content in JWE so I’m getting bang for my buck but on the other hand I’m a sandbox guy. I just wanna make a bio man 😭
Call me cynical but it’s easier to pad out time by making players go through all the content knowing most of the player base wants to play sandbox so the game seems like it’s worth $60 and not just a huge expansion pack.
If the player could just play campaign then sandbox then this game would kinda feel hollow and only worth about $40. The devs definitely did this on purpose
Its funny tho, planet zoo has a full sandbox with everything unlocked right from the start so i dont know why this game doesnt have that option either. People would still play the shit out of it even if 100% sandbox was available from the start.

Literally, the same..., I can understand that because they'll now how probably all of us would instantly go for sandbox mode after campaing, ( I don't know if I typed it correctly cause I have..., Bad english XD ), so if everything was avaible from the start in there..., Just a few, well..., more like a very few people wouldn't do the chaos theory mode and the challenge mode,( Me included), besides..., I find a little bit punishing the ridicolous amount of time you have to spend with the INCREDIBLY boring, ( Not being hater of it... but definitely not enjoyer), Challenge mode..., Look, I understand they want us to play their entire game..., But this is too much :V
you basically have to complete everythign before playing sandbox. I bought the game just wanted to play sandbox ! other modes are hard af
Challenge mode on easy is extremely easy. You will finish each challenge in under an hour and its the fastest way to unlock 80% of the dinosaurs. Chaos theory on the other hand is a bag of shit, the objectives especially the financial ones are crap and shouldnt exist.

Each challenge map is limited in what donors you can get . I believe if you want the acro/char you can get it on either Germany or the last challenge map . But simply some dinoes aren't available on certain challenge maps .
if anyone is confused about this, ill clear some things up. For 1, you can unlock every dinosaur from challenge mode. youll have to play a few challenge mode maps and unlock them through research. you can also unlock some through chaos theory if you want but you dont have to.
Will they unlock for all maps?
So if I want every dinosaur in the game it’s not 100% necessary to do chaos theory
Or just use a save file with all dinos

I just want a mode where you start with a couple dinos around 40% DNA, and you have to unlock everything in that mode via research and expeditions. I sorta had that in the last game with the campaign. Now I've got nothing.

Man.. im new on the game and i quickly go to sand box there, spend like 5 hours building stuff and cages, lagoon etc, and i realize i dont have a single dinosaur to put in there😂😂
Turn off the scientists. All dinosaurs unlocked. From the settings. Go to settings, you can turn off the scientists. And all dinosaurs unlocked automatically. It’s free.

If you choose creative you don't have to unlock anything it is already there the only things you need is the different islands thats about it
On sandbox, once you’ve selected either custom, creative or standard, can it be changed to a different one of the 3 after you start or does it permanently stay on the one you’ve picked for your parks if you want to try on another one, also which one is the best to go for out the 3?

I think what I hate most about jwe 2 is that once you beat campaign mode you think you know how everything works. Then you go into challenge mode and I feel like I have to teach myself so much more that was never covered in the main story.
I'm in Seattle right now. Can't wait to come home and play the game!
Are there any special onlockables players can get from playing the first game? I know some games will have a special unlockable if a save file from the predeceasing game is on the game system.
I did find out that I can spend money unlocking dinos and research, then quit to the main menu without saving. When I loaded my manual save I still had the Dinosaurs unlocked for sandbox, but I also had my money back to spend researching another unlockable. Of course, you still have to play enough of the game to get the correct star ratings for certain Dinos. But this is quicker if you don’t have a lot of money.
HOW do we increase the chance to capture max dinos for say pennsylvania Campaign mission?? I always get 4/ 5 parasaurlophuses even with scientist stats way over req. Is the chance set in stone by beginning of misdion or what??
Hey, I'm in challenge mode and one my plesiosaurs is sick and I can't seem to the mobile vet to heal him. Is this another bug?
Most of these can be unlocked within sandbox mode itself. for instance ive unlocked every predator species including spinosaurus, indominus rex and indoraptor by researching them in sandbox mode. and also just about have all herbivores unlocked

How do I get a second and third expedition-team like in JWE1? Honestly it's not the best update for the series that for every map you start again with nothing :(
The majungasaurus, acrocanthosaurus and cryolophosaurus can all be unlocked via the german6 challenge mode, which you’ll need to do anyways in order to unlock northwest USA which is where you get the indominus rex and Indo raptor

Does that mean once you’ve reached over 50 percent genome on a Dino and then release it into your park, it’s then on a 100 percent on sandbox and also, do you unlock all the skins from 1993,1997 and 2001 once you’ve unlocked all the dinos, buildings and vaccines etc on chaos theory and on challenge mode, all with five stars?

I have question how to get all fences in the game i mean i saw some people with invisible fence and that white fence how to do that(for invisible fence i need biosyn ik but how to do it i chose biosyn buildings and i only got these invisible fences without the white one i need to buy everything in the game or what? )
Weirdly i really like having to unlock specific speicies in chaos and campaign cuz it kinda forces you to do everything, smart tacting from Frontlier actually
I know a lot of people wish everything is unlocked if you beat the campaign but I don't mind this. Challenge mode essentially is like classic JPOG and I don't mind doing new challenge modes with specific dinos in mind. It will make each dino unlock special and each challenge mode unique.
It would be nice if the game told you which mode you needed to play to get which dinosaur. I've 5 stared all the maps in chaos theory and challenge mode, but I didn't unlock every single thing on each map so now I have to go back through them all and look through all the research.
What is the last trait locked in genome modification? After the 3 combat traits there's one more after it. What is it.

It's not an overall terrible way to go with how to unlock everything for sandbox. However, I feel the Campaign you should be able to revisit prior locations and keep/maintain those locations and care for those dinos, and maybe do research in those locations as well.
I hope they add the ability to disable combat and injuries in sandbox. The fact that the no combat option is missing really confused me since it was in the first game
SAME MAN. I LOVED doing free roams in my park, wher so would turn off fighting, no fences, and no buildings(except for hatcheries) and take awesome photos of them walking around

Just turn off "Research" in the sandbox settings, it'll disable all required researches meaning you'd get all/most of the dinosaurs and buildings.

Question I got challenge mode 5 stars and unlocked some like mososaurus but I unlocked velociraptor but can’t use it for sandbox. Why? So I gotta release them?

Honestly I like challenge mode hopefully they add more maps for all the game modes and expand on some of the elements from challenge mode

Best bet is to go through each challenge mode on easy mode to max out research and dinos than do the hard mode for the 5 star and completion rewards, that way you can play hard mode only going for the most optimal route to completion without having to worry about actually unlocking anything for sandbox

It's fdev. The fact that they give you a tutorial on the basic gameplay mechanics in campaign is already crazy to me. Cause they don't do that for elite. It's an easy way to get people to spend so many extra hours on their game.
Ive completed the campaign, only completed the first two Chaos Theory missions and haven't touched challenge mode. When I'm in one of my first two choas theory missions it shows I have a lot to still unlock but when I go into sandbox creative I have have access to all the dinos. Did the change it or what's going on that I have access to them all

Can someone please tell me what all do you get in the chaos mode like what dinos and bulidings are locked behind it bc im having trouble with some of them. If you want to get stuff easy complete the Canada Challenge then do Germany on Easy since you don’t have as many storms and more room it’s easier to unlock the stuff you can get from it once you got that to 4 stars you want to target what you didn’t have access to unlock in Germany an so on and so forth eventually you should have all the stuff you can get without the need of chaos theory also majunga is available in JP2 Chaos Theory
I gave up on the game after about a week as someone who played the entire campaign of the last game. It’s just so tedious to 5 star every park to unlock everything. I did that in the last game and I have no desire to do it again. Hopefully a mod will come out or something to unlock everything.

Idk if it's been said but if you play all the challenge modes, you'll be able to get the dinosaur specific to those located in the campaign mode

Since i got the game its changed. You just turn research/digs off in sandbox and voila. AT least for me on consle.
Well the bright side is that at least they are not forcing you to "pay" for the dinosaurs with real money and you have to unlock them through game play albeit with a bit of push and shove into different modes.

There is a quicker way do you want to go to Sandbox select custom turn off, scientist, expeditions, and the newest part the dinosaur acquisition

If you still haven't figured it out well than I'll tell you how to research the other dinosaurs you have to go to different levels on the challenge mode where there's different dinosaurs to unlock
For some reason as soon as I loaded into sandbox it gave me all the buildings and dinos and I did not have to do anything.

You now can go in to sandbox, turn on research and expeditions etc, then research all the dinosaurs and u can just breed them with unlimited money and u can unlock everything in like 4 hours
The campaign was super short can I go back to the locations and continue working on the parks

You unlock those dinosaurs further down challenge mode. Each map has limited dinosaurs to unlock
