Aubie the Tiger is our mascot. “War Eagle!” (legendary origin story is from an EARLY football game vs Georgia or Georgia Tech) is our rallying cry, and Auburn people greet one another worldwide with War Eagle. Several years ago, people began sometimes adding Damn for emphasis & then of course it was often shortened to WDE. We invite you to attend a football game at Auburn and witness pregame eagle flight-or find an AUsome TH-cam video-one of the greatest sports traditions. Of course, the Jungle at basketball games is also becoming famous now because of students and Coach Pearl and his players like my fellow alumnus Harper, and I’m heading that way from Florida to see us beat Ole Miss!
Don’t care for Pearl. I’m Jewish like him. He just wears out bring Jewish. It makes the rest of us cringe. Just costed Kentucky 10 wins. NCAA did it today. He’s not good at what he does but if you say that you’re antisemitic.
