Hello there... No you didn't do something wrong. Some devices don't support 5G, so they can only connect to the low 2.4G. I also have a phone that can only connect to the 2.4G

I got this device few weeks back speeds are only reaching 8mbp... customer support doesn't do much in assisting why it's casually so slow and losing internet connection
Pretty simple to change if you can get a different skin. It doesn't glue, it kind of sits securely in place. Won't leave a mark. I think they did it this way so when it's returned, they can easily pass to the next customer without major work.
You connect to the TV typically the same way you would a phone. On your tv's network settings under WiFi select the network and use correct password, it should connect

Hi. It's possible that your mom's phone can't connect to 5g wifi. Depends on her phone make & model

Connecting a device via LAN (Optional)... Normally a cable works more efficient than WiFi.

From my knowledge, you can't unless the coverage in the area is 4g. This router comes with 2.4g and 5g

You have to logon to the router using 192.168.0.1 you should be able to change the password there
