Just a tip don’t measure the fish with the tape laid across their body, the curvature of the fish adds length. Lay the fish flat on top of the tape. Don’t want ol green jeans to catch you with 1 inch short

JC, today I went out fishing where it has similar structure as you were in this video. I was excited that I caught first snook ever, however, after that one bite, fish were all gone. I stayed there from noon to afternoon but only 2-3 mins actively biting during that time. And I wonder why. Could you shred a light please? Thanks!

great video as usual. I'm heading down to the tampa/st Pete area and was wondering if you had any recommendations. I'm not new to fishing the area, but wanted to pick your brain on current bite and conditions. I'm bringing my kayak so looking forward to getting out on that a little bit. I was planning some time floating big pin fish from the sunshine skyway for grouper during out going tide, definitely going to hit st Pete pier for some sheepshead and hoping to bridge hope for snapper and other fun stuff. any recommendations are welcome. if you need a fishing buddy I'll be around Thursday through Saturday.

Those fish were caught on different days. The big one that broke me off was actually the first fish on a new knot and leader. It was 50 lb test mono he snapped. The slow motion section shows the power of that fish, massive weight.
