We have 3L of Blood... but we filter 180L of fluid?????????!!!! That is absolutely insane.That's crazy to think it's 60 times the blood volume!!!!! Love it!

only 3 out of the 5 liters are fluid (plasma), the other 2 liters are cellular elements (WBCs, RBCs, platelets)
