    Billy. Let me suggest: clump all the poles together, and tie them in maybe 4 places
    The tighter you pack them in the clump, the straighter they'll be. If you have just one, and you need to get the curve out, dry it in a piece of 3/4 pipe. Metal works best, but pvc works well also
    In the Philippines, they bend bamboo in all kinds of shapes by steaming the pieces. They steam the pieces, bend them till cool.

      Appreciate the suggestion. drying it in a piece of pipe is a really good idea I will be trying that. Yeah the eastern world bad bamboo on lock they love the stuff

    Dude that Dremel makes quick work of the sanding. Sure beats doing it by hand. Those heat treated poles look killer.

      Yeah the dremel sure is handy. This new bamboo I cut the branches are pretty darn tough. The River Cane branches pull off easily though.

    Bro it is fantastic poles hard work pays off👍👍. What we do is take a machete 💥bam💥boom💥 its done😄😄.we want cane pole fishing videos with those poles👍. Its always fun✨️

      Machete works too! Haha save some time that way for sure! Yeah it’s fun to make the poles but even funnier to fish with them!

    How do you clean-cut the bamboo poles into smaller poles? I used a jig saw and it leaves a message cut, not clean at all. Thanks.

      I use a tiny hand saw that leaves a pretty clean cut. I also smooth areas out with my dremel tool
