Used in Jaguar cars XK140, Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 1 and Bentley S1.
Beautiful things, fully rebuildable, proper quality.
People with no idea denigrate Lucas products, but people with an idea know that they were second to none.

Yes I've worked on all sorts of English vehicles as well as North American vehicles. I've never been able to figure out why people think Lucas electrics are problematic.

Also used on British very early model Landrovers and some military vehicles like a Alvis stalwart.

I believe these were standardly used in the MG TF cars. Many of us retrofit them to the TD and TC models.
Good to know that mineral oil successfully feeds the leather seal.
