Yes I've worked on all sorts of English vehicles as well as North American vehicles. I've never been able to figure out why people think Lucas electrics are problematic.
I believe these were standardly used in the MG TF cars. Many of us retrofit them to the TD and TC models. Good to know that mineral oil successfully feeds the leather seal. Thanks!
