Roller Mobster made me rock on Narmer like I didn't think I would. This song reinforced an already strong "Both your and the entire system's destiny depends on this moment." vibe due to the difficulty. However! It also gave a "Yeah, you can do this! You ARE doing it!" vibe to it, as if I wouldn't lose. And I won that mission without going down/having to use Last Gasp after listening that tune. Carpenter Brut stan ftw

after the Cory portion on death wish I genuinely wanted to kill myself, it took me more tries to do that floor then to do the entire power plant mission for beard. Now I’m going to beat it hard.
The technical term is a harmonic cadence. The melody drives the chord progression forward while more instruments are layered on top of it to make the chords fuller, which creates a sense of tension. This tension is fully released at 5:25 so that a new tension may be created in the next section. It's essentially a "build up," but that term is somewhat of a colloquialism.
