A military to react to a viral threat in that period of time, get organized, develop and deploy a strategy, and still function with a very large (zombified) hole in where the leadership used to be, is quite a difficult thing to do. This is all without any further manufacturing from the country you are serving. Of course the military won’t be entirely overrun, however it is a race between the infection and how fast the military can mobilize against the threat, all without taking heavy losses. (Military bases will Fall as military members are called back into duty and are potentially infected) the loss of manpower and equipment will be immense, and not only will it be manpower, but trained manpower. Overall, the military will likely be heavily damaged throughout the world, and as long as no blue falcon gets in charge, the military will probably do localized counterattacks to retake strategic or political targets from the hordes and set up safe zones for civilians over periods of months.
So in this even the Afghan Army can manage Zombies, meanwhile in the Walking Dead the entire US-Military, US-Police force cant manage. lmao. The Zombies in the Walking Dead who are moving much slower then these Zombies must have god powers :-D

@vampanthi virus the ANA had a good amount of equipment being handed down after their use or captured from previous wars (such as Soviet rifles from Soviet-Afghan war, the M113 APC, The Humvee and so on.)
In reality the ANA is quite chaotic even with American advisors since they suffered from corruption, lack of motivation to keep fighting (you can watch videos of Afghan soldiers plead their trainers to the being a soldier such as firing a rifle and such since they wanted to get this over with) and Insurgent groups always raid ANA bases and munitions that disrupt the ANA operation capability but then again it’s a video game what do i expect?
