I used to take melotonin- I had to stop because it had negative side effects. Nightmares, not being able to sleep throughout the night, restless legs etc. I switched over to Ashwaganda and Passionflower supplements. I switch back and forth month to month so my body doesn't get used to them. I would start with Ashwaganda first then a month later do the Passionflower. It WORKS. This is coming from someone who used to take the nasty actual "sleep aids" you get from Riteaid. The natural remedies I take now saved my sleep schedule. You can even take them in the day (I take one in the morning if needed) when my anxiety is buggin out. I believe in these supplements so much I wish I could scream about them on top of a mountain for the world to hear. Dramatic- I know. But this is IT

Hi Mel, I'm not a doctor, but I think your having trouble sleeping correlates to all the things you do in the day. You could have high cortisol levels, but again I'm no doctor so I can only advise you check if your cortisol levels are ok. Doctor Huberman made a very insightful episode about cortisol.

I saw below a comment about ashwagandha, Dr Huberman recommends this too, I haven't tried it myself but maybe it could be a good option!

just google it. it says : Vinegar is about five percent acetic acid, which helps it break down the structure of some dirt, oils, films, stains and bacteria. But that acidic agent can also harm some surfaces, so test it in an inconspicuous area. Vinegar is not recommended for use on natural stone, waxed wood, cast iron or aluminum.
