Thank you for this video Pink! I hate when someone zig zags against me during a game while shooting! Now I can zig zag back and hopefully leave them packing back to the lobby! 🙂
Great video as always! Counter-clockwise should generally feel more natural to a right-handed person as the "forehand" motion, just as in racquet sports, or a hook punch. Maybe being a more naturally unpredictable peeker means practicing the backhand! Cheers
Your brain will always be better at matching your movements then theirs is, so no matter how many shots you miss, the ratio of hits given to hits taken Will ALWAYS be bigger when strafing.
Great tips, as always 😊. I would like to see tips on the one I have the most problem : coming up at at the top of a rock and someone is a the top, what can I do for cover and/or get shooting advantage or being at the top and someone is climbing to the top. Example, the rocks in plains (Pride rock).
@@Mike87eXif I build to get to the top with cover won’t that tell them I’m approaching and where from? Maybe I’m misunderstanding, idk. I build when I hear someone and I’m on the top , but if I’m climbing up to surprise them I don’t think there’s anything but the element of surprise to count on for an advantage. ?
When I’m hard cover strafing I use what they told me in basic. I say in my head “I’m up, they see me, I’m down”. All in one breath, takes about 3 seconds
Great video, I play tons of Sandbox and there are some great strafers, I dont know how they move back and forth so fast. I am pretty basic but even that is a huge advantage. You must do this. Quick question Pink, do you know if you talk about using the AWP in any of your videos where you use it but are not just standing on top of something fully exposed? When I use it I tend to be fully exposed on top of something. Am I missing something? I'll shoot it and then get behind something. How does one use the AWP and still maintain some hardcover?
Have you tried the resting elbow peek with the awp? Also if you’re on a rock peeking you can actually lift your awp up and sideways to clear the rock and scope in and be able to hit someone while still not very exposed
Usually, people do the circle strafe with the awp with hardcover, keep your angles tight. The only other way to stay kind of safe is a jump shot or the wall peak. Watch my AWP master class video if you don't know what I mean about the last 2 skills.
Hey, maybe you can help me in a big way by answering this question: What is the most convenient way for a person to get Population One content (like videos I record in-game) out to my iMac computer so I can post it, share it, etc?
If you mean on quest 2, record the game, plug in a USB c cable to your computer, and move the files from your headset to computer. That is the most convenient way. If you play on pcvr, you can use OBS or Streamlabs to record
@@populationone-pinkpwnage2894 For some reason I'm having a heck of a time getting the AndroidFileTransfer app to connect to my headset. I actually had all kinds of difficulty and then one day it worked! But I can't remember the magic whatever I did that made it connect. I gave my headset the Allow button...but not seeing the app do it's part.

PINK! You're the most scientific resource I can find on this game. Such big high fives for you!
I'm an actual scientist/professor, so that probably helps lol
@@populationone-pinkpwnage2894 Well...my science detector must still be good. I teach science to middle schoolers. LOL
@@garlandpoolfredpool Your patience must be stellar, middleschoolers would give me a stroke

Build your way up, or rotate back of that is possible
Build!!! That’s how to get anywhere when being shot at

Peekers and off timing kills me when I'm AWPing, great tips.
Im a newb, been on for a month, i swear i feel like Harry Potter with all these new words, lol
Great video. How do you practice solo on this classicsquad map? I dont see the option.
I created a custom lobby and didn't start the game. It's not the easiest to find in the menu

Do you have a link for your peekers revenge video that you talking about, pls?

Very good practices/advises! How do I access the whole city map without enemies like you show on the video? Thanks!
I'm in a custom lobby, without starting the game. Scroll down un the map menu, click on view all, create a custom deathmatch or battle royal room.
