  • Using Nearpod is a quick easy way to engage students in progress monitoring virtually. In this video, I show you how I am using Nearpod to have students record their reading fluency progress monitoring without taking tons of live class time. Progress monitoring during remote learning can be difficult and special education teachers need to continue to keep data on how students are doing. It is not feasible to monitor reading fluency for all of your students at the same time. This simple how to video on using nearpod to solve this problem can help!

Thank you for this, I was just talking to our Reading interventionist and telling her all the amazing things Nearpod can do and wondered how to use Nearpod for fluency progress. This is exactly what I had in mind. Thanks for sharing!

Oh my! This is amazing! I'm prepping a slide show about ways to use Nearpod to help students be more interactive. I'm definitely using this! Thank you!

Thank you. Please tell me where the recording goes to and how to access listening to it. I cannot find that anywhere.

I have a question, if I am going to assign this for daily fluency through Google Classroom, do I need to share a new active session each day or can I reuse the post in Classroom? I am wondering if I just reuse the post if there recording from the previous day will be there when they open Nearpod?

Oh good question, I would think it would be a new lesson each day. Mainly because when you edit the Nearpod it ends the active session.
