Hey y’all, I’m back with another travel vlog! My best friend and I took a trip to Puerto Rico for her birthday and here’s how it went.

Thank you! No specific reason, we're just used to Airbnbs and their feel. I don't know if it was cheaper because we didn't compare prices or consider an all-inclusive.

@@Theloveaddvct we decided on a Airbnb now we just trying to figure out how to do excursions snorkeling, ziplining, jet ski, atv and forest tours
@@swissgenius7587 Ahh okay, I think we booked most of ours on Trip advisor but Airbnb experiences has some good things too,
I am planning my trip to san juan. I was debating between hotel and airbnb. So with transportation to certain excursions they can pick you up from your airbnb or did you just get a rental?
Ooo yess have fun!! I'd say Airbnb for San Juan but they seem to have nice affordable hotels too so just compare prices. And yes a few of the excursions will give you the option of a pick up usually from a public area near your stay. We got a rental for a day for 2 excursions that were kinda far and didn't offer pick ups.
@@Theloveaddvctdid you find sixt car rental to be easy to use? I’ve had a bad experience with their rental service in the past in another area
@@CiaTheTherapist We got the car on Priceline and had to pay some unexpected fees when we got to Sixt but yeah we had a good experience with them for the most part!

@@paulasanford1228 Thank you so much! 🥰 I wouldn’t say we worried much about safety as we were always together. However, we were told to stay away from La Perla because it’s mainly for locals and could be dangerous. I would say bring a taser or pepper spray or something just in case and try not to stay out too late. Enjoy your solo trip tho!

how much did the rental cost for the days you had it ?
We only had it for that one day and returned it the next day but I just checked and I paid $78 and I think that was half of it.

IK you rented a car but were Ubers/Lyfts available?
Yes! We actually only rented a car for a day to go to 2 excursions that were far from us and we ubered during the rest of our trip.

It honestly wasn't bad imo!
How were you able to record without getting your phone wet while you were at the cave ?
Lol I honestly just risked it, didn’t have a water case on or anything. Just held it carefully above water where I could and gave it to our guides to hold and record at certain parts because they have more experience.

Yes we booked it through TripAdvisor. It was called “Culebra Day Trip by Catamaran from Fajardo” with East Island Excursions.

In San Juan
The mistake y'all made was going to La Perla at night, especially because y'all arent locals. Best time is to go during the daytime and probably try to avoid recording certain spots
