MSMV servers have been revived by third parties recently, but as a series it is dead unfortunately. The closing of Evo Studios coupled with the fact that Sony owns the rights to the IP, means we may never see another one again. It's in Sony's hands, it's up to them to assign the IP to a new studio and greenlight a new game.

Well, I think that the dude who became Muerte essentially became the Grim Reaper, and he sabotaged Dice's car so that he could reap his soul. He was about to reap Tyler's soul, too, only to be struck by lightning as if God was telling him, "It is not yet his time, Muerte! Leave him be!"
They need to make another one for the PS5 and this time have a story mode this one was way better than just racing from track to track and we can do a lot more with DLC like add in other story chapters put in hidden drivers and you get the car when you beat them that would be cool
It would actually be pretty cool if codemasters were to do a remaster of this game, they would include cutscenes like this for the previous three games. Although the lore I think should be part in the past part in the present. The past part would be how Big Dog and Hangnail Johnson created the tracks and how Motorstorm was founded. The present part should be since Mash is the new leader of Motorstorm, he has everyone revisit the previous locations of the festivals in memorial for Big Dog and Dice. It would make the most sense too, since if there would be a remaster then we would take all 15 vehicle classes on every track (including DLC) It would be the biggest festival ever. Something important to note though is that a lot of the cars from previous games were changed to other classes in RC, if every vehicle from every game and every class were to be included, then I think the same would happen.
You know what would be cool for your idea? If Muerte returns as the main villain, leading a group of undead WraithStormers, racers resurrected from beyond as revenants to act as his subordinates. Among them would be Big Dog, Hangnail, and Dice. Oh, and he'd have the DuskLite site manager acting as a flunkie, too. The WraithStormers, lead by Muerte, would appear to wreak havoc on the MotorStorm Festival.
I've never got this delusional sense of immortality with the characters in this game. "Dice can't just die"... "You can't die Big Dog"... Like wtf lol, they're all human. They can die just as easily as anyone else.
