Sobo wp 1990 Unboxing and assembling

Hello guys i just brought sobo Wp1990 3 in 1 water purifier and oxygenator.
i just want you to know how to assemble thing, but you must have a filter tank, if not do purchase new water tank else better to leave this product.

can i attach flexible pipe 1/2 inch to the intake of the pump instead of that attachment provided?
