Tolerance is given to any free size e.g. hole diameter or any length means for dimensions which is the result of any operation but
Allowance is given for two mating part in which we want fitment and fitment may be lies in any category of fits

Giving Allowance is nothing but giving tolerance, right sir???

Allowance is the amount of designed or intentional deviation between two mating dimensions in a fit note it for mating parts only , which, in combination with their respective tolerances, results into a maximum and minimum clearance or interference.
And Tolerance is just difference Between Max. and Min. Size means Upper limit - Lower limit
it individual for a single dimention.

Sure Bro,
Well it is hard to justify the gap of three years if u didn't do anything else, but still if u have Solid knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and your basic concepts are clear and u are greedy to gain knowledge through polishing your potential then you will definatly get a Job.
I suggest you to do some vocational course like CAD CAM CAE and Basic knowledge of industrial terminology.

These types of dimensions have open tolerance so for that you have to refer the standard which is given by Customer who provides you drawing or refer ISO 2768 standard.
