KISAH SEDIH KETIKA RASULULLAH WAFAT
Tepat hari Senin, tanggal 29 Shafar tahun 11 Hijriah sepulangnya Nabi Muhammad SAW dari Baqi', dalam perjalanan beliau mengeluhkan sakit di kepala dan suhu tubuhnya meningkat.
Nabi Muhammad SAW mengalami sakit selama beberapa hari. Pekan terakhir masa sakitnya beliau memutuskan untuk pindah ke rumah istri kesayangannya, yaitu Sayyidah Aisyah Radhiyallahu 'Anha.
Tepat lima hari sebelum wafat, suhu pada tubuh beliau semakin tinggi. Lalu beliau bersabda, "Guyurkan air dari manapun ke tubuhku, agar dapat menemui orang-orang dan memberikan nasihat kepada mereka."
Setelah merasa agak ringan, beliau pun masuk ke dalam masjid dengan kondisi kepala yang terikat, lalu beliau duduk di atas mimbar dan berpidato di hadapan orang-orang yang duduk dihadapan beliau.
Hari Kamis, tepat empat hari sebelum kepergiannya, sakit yang diderita oleh Nabi Muhammad SAW tidak kunjung membaik. Di tengah sakitnya, Nabi Muhammad SAW tetap mengimami shalat lima waktu.
Namun, menjelang shalat Isya kondisi Nabi Muhammad SAW semakin bertambah parah, sehingga beliau tidak sanggup lagi untuk pergi ke masjid. Dan beliau meminta Abu Bakar untuk menggantikannya sebagai imam.

The Prophet Muhammad SAW was sick for several days. The last week of his illness he decided to move to the house of his beloved wife, Sayyidah Aisyah Radhiyallahu 'Anha. Exactly five days before he died, his body temperature was getting higher. Then he said, "Pour water from anywhere on my body, so that I can meet people and give them advice." After feeling a little lighter, he entered the mosque with his head tied, then he sat on the pulpit and made a speech in front of the people sitting in front of him. On Thursday, exactly four days before his departure, the illness suffered by the Prophet Muhammad SAW did not improve. In the midst of his illness, the Prophet Muhammad SAW continued to lead the five daily prayers. However, before the Isha prayer, Prophet Muhammad SAW's condition became worse, so that he could no longer go to the mosque. And he asked Abu Bakr to replace him as imam.
