I mentioned in another video that you have a large area of trees from the silo, along the rock embankment above the store. Clear the trees and expand the area around the silo and you can then create a new small field for potato or beets. 👍

with the boundaries, it is possible to both mow and windrow just over your boundary. When mowing if your tractor is over the boundary it doesnt work, but if your tractor is right on the edge and the mower happens to be wider than your tractor you will mow wider. When it comes to windrowing same thing applies, tractor and row swath just has to be on your land, rower can pull it in from across the boundary. Harvesting works the same way for wider headers, but I found the field boundary works better if its on the left side of the combine. Right side seems to be finicky. My rower is a bit wider than yours (like the one in your sale this ep), and I can get mowed grass from over the boundary when mowing using the same batwing mower you have.

But no matter what, i would always first try and "mark" the Boarder with a Plow or similar beforehand, just so i would know how much space (and Work) i truly would have to deal with
also a good idea if you can get $80,000 built up would be to make an area for a Oil mill & do Canola oil production which would generate a HUGE profit pays for itself in 9 months IF you build up your supply & sell in the best month, doing so I was able to start olive oil in 4 years of canola alone... well + wheat but that was a by product for my straw needs.
There is a really good windrower in the sale! That double bladed windrower that’s nearly the best in the game, you guys really should buy that and sell the small one.

You should re configure the other small trailer to a grain trailer too and tandem them as its not getting used now you’ve got a bail and logging trailer
And yet , because they are using PF, it's preferable to let them grow to the 1st stage, and then use a sprayer with cameras to eradicate them. In PF they grow in small patches, so the yield loss is minimal, but they could save thousands on herbicide usage and on top of that they gain another 10% for the environmental score. The ES is applied to EVERYTHING they selling not just the field crops.
The boundries in this map go perfectly north/south, so once you find the boundary, you can use the angle reading on the map to find 0* or 180* and follow that to make nice and straight boundary cuts.
Oh I do not know the price, but you could do the potato sorting mod! That is a fun thing to cooperate on! Tip for land boundaries in places like this. Get the terrain tool on smallest brush size and make dots of dirt every so often along the boundary (if you do not have paint anywhere on anyway). It will tell you when you are at the edge, and then you have a visual cue for mowing. Something I always do on maps like this.
I'd cultivate it and replant it as grass you already have the equipment it look better and it make more money and you don't need to worry about growth stage when wanting to get to the trees up above the rock and id also plant that area grass honestly though I'd really recommend not buying more land and instead just making the most of the land you have getting rid of the trees and farming as much as possible and also making stuff look decent with more sheds and gravel all the way to the silo
if you are having problems with your tractor/combine moving, you may have to increase the deadspot on the controller or recalibrate...when i had a wheel that needed to happen a couple times

Just so you know, if you spray herbecide before the weeds come it will make you get more crops, if you wait until the weeds are big then you will be punisht for it. so the best time to spray for weeds is right after you have rolled the field. Sorry for bad spelling.
I have taken to placing a field marker at and along the boundaries of my land. I liken it to placing a fencelin, or property markers. Any constriction mod, telephone pole or similar helps you see the the property lines.
I think potatoes would be an excellent idea something different plus keep up the great work I love your videos your an inspiration to fs! It’s one of the reasons I play it

Honestly I think potatoes would be a mistake and a waste of money at this point. You have so many other things you need to save for and throwing money at a very slow crop to harvest and such would be terrible.
G'day dag hope this finds you well mate. I think you need to diversify your playthroughs. I have been a subscriber since s2 or 3 of survival roleplay (it was just before fs19 U were still on fs17). I find myself watching less of the "normal" vids and concentrating mainly on survival challenge and roleplay as all the series currently feel very stale. Your playthroughs are too similar to what you have been doing for the last 2-3 years. The style of play is great as is the commentary it's the map and vehicle selection that for me is the problem l. You use very similar vehicles to previous playthroughs and very similar maps not setting foot outside of Europe and the US. Try Australia or South America or Africa, maybe a mining series or a 100% organic farm even a different game something like showrunner modded for farming or American Farming on mobile You could even go wild with something like Rimworld. I hope you take this as constructive criticism from a long time watcher and not someone having a crack at you. Again I hope this finds you in good health. Cheers mate

I think we would all be ok with crop destruction turned off due to the lag spikes and disconnections from multi-player.
Crop destruction destroys way to big areas and looks bad anyways, so good to just turn it off..

I think you 2 would be money ahead to install a shallow water draw by the greenhouses where you can fill your "bowser"
clear some trees around teh silo and youll have space to maneuvre the drills and make a little money too
If you want to do root crops, the maybe do sugar beets, and crush them to earn some more money. It pretty easy, and dont require much.
Should slap in a little farmhouse or something up on the cliff maybe. It's survival after all!

Might be worth it doing some honey and chickens aswell trickling in some extra income monthly honey and eggs also good 2 or 3 times a year
