2021 sprite alpine 4 review

I manage to track down Swifts Sprite Alpine 4 - a fixed bed layout thats been around for years. Its a great tourer for two. Although the Alpine 2 is the more popular the 4 should not be dismissed - I say take a look at this compact tourer fixed bed layout its a definate to short list. Oh and the Alpine as a model has been around since 1958 in the UK - making it on of the longest running models !

Had our Alpine 4, White Arches Sport for 6 yrs. It was ex demo and discounted, with the shortages of stock. You wouldn't see a discount like that again. Really happy with it, bimbles behind our Duster with ease. We do a mix of long weekends, to 3 week trips. Having taken early retirement/redundancy recently, allowed us to plan 3, 4 week European trips for 2023. So started to think about a new van, never bought new before. The Alpine fits with ease on our drive, was also handy as a spare office during Covid. I do watch how I load, as the bed, oven, fridge are on the same side. A interior front chest, with the card table pull out desk top, would be nice. I have extended the air duct heating into the bathroom, which was very easy to do. The shower is OK, the shower curtain sticks to you, so very rarely use it. Its a very good caravan overall and I'm surprised you don't see more of them. After a look at whats on offer, will be keeping "Doris".

Torskey caravans Lincoln have reduced the 2023 alpine 4 down to 20 495 pounds in seriously thinking of buying one good to know you have been happy with yours

Fantastic video again Andrew I'm seriously thinking of buying a alpine 4 this year they seem very reasonable at the moment tors key caravans are asking 20 495 pounds for 2023 model I love fish and chips and ice cream you got good taste

wow a great price that me thinks what a lot of van for the cash beats the disco hand sdown- love me fish and chips ha ha - doing a review for Practocal on a 2019 used Al[pine 4 - nice well looked after tourer-thanks for great comments

Good video. I went inside a dealer special of the Alpine 4 for the first time today and thought it is a really good layout. It's really for two with a fixed bed but can be towed by a moderate tow car. Thumbs up from me.

Good video as usual thanks. We actually saw one of these and the Alpine 2 at Salop leisure Shrewsbury this week. I was rather disappointed with the lack of storage space in the kitchen area other wise I might have considered the 2 . I think the Adria Action has more kitchen storage .

Thank you Carol - and your comments - one thing is for sure the Alpine would be better to re-sell later on than the Action - the Action has a small front window to a larger one would make it feel more spacious I think - must go and check one out not reviewed one since their re launch a couple of years back

Andrew are there any modern-ish caravans still with the smaller "other end" dinettes as well as at the front? We used to go on hols in a Coachman 570/5 late 80s/90s, was about 17ft if memory serves. loved that layout! Preferred to be able to leave the smaller dinette as the bed instead of the fixed double option. Love the videos!

Now you know thats a layout that was so popular but fell out of fashion new - my Ranger GT60 500/5 is that layout and its very good. You would need to search for such vans as the Ranger 500/5 Lunar Quasar 525, Elddis Avante 505 - thank you for your kind words to on the videos .

Have a look at the Bailey Discovery D43. That might have the layout you mentioned but I think it’s a bit compromised on kitchen surface. It’s difficult finding the exact caravan we want but it’s out there somewhere 😃

Great review. Really like the look of this model and looking at the possibility of buying a wheelchair adapted version from CoachbuiltGB. Just a bit horrified that the standard price goes up from £19,000 to £34,000 plus. They even have a 2009 for sale at the moment that costs more than a brand new 2021 model. Scandalous to think of how much more you have to pay just to be able to get a wheelchair through the door.

love my sprite 4 . I have a 2015 am an older woman on her own and find its perfect for me and the dog and occasional grandchild or three.

Any idea what changes there will be for the new 2022 alpine 4, nothing in the Swift website yet as not been updated although dealer's promoting them now and taking orders !

Hi as far as I am aware nothing has altered new graphics but nothing much expect 2023 models to be released vamped only new sprite is compact which as soon as I get ok I will put the review on also I’m doing a review in practical caravan soon thank you for contacting the channel
