Another good video, like the way your videos are down to earth, not knocking other channels but most just show them catching fish one after the other and nothing ever goes wrong, yours always show us just the way it is with all the good, bad, and ugly. Thanks

Nice. Been killing em on stinkbait and tried shad for the first time. There's none in the lake I fish but a friend brought some. Thanks as always for sharing brother!! 👍🏾👊🏾✊🏾🙂💯

Hi Tom am from UK was looking at one of your videos the one with spring feeder it's ok but you can improve it, if you get different hooks with eye turning towards the point , get your hook length hold hook point upwards then get a shot with the split facing up put it on just below the loop knot and when the fish suck's in the bait the bias of the shot will turn hook over as fish blows it out. it hooks it self good luck hope this helps you 👍

I tend to catch a bunch of cats while fishing for carp. So far this year though I have only caught one. Not what I am used to. Spider crawling on your arm at the 7:20 mark.

Ha, I was wondering if anybody would notice that spider. Nice work! 😀

Love the Carolina rigs. Ever try a Sandee Cooper rig? Basically it's a Carolina with a peg float to get the bait a little bit off the bottom. I've had luck with it.

Yeah, I'll use the Santee rig sometimes when there's current or for drifting.

Sir Tom nice video, fun day of fishing, breaking lines is all part of the fun. Wondering what or where you got your bank rod holders.

How deep of water are you fishing?

How deep are you finding channel cats right now (endish of June)? I'm thinking the thermocline has formed by now so they probably aren't deep?

These fish were in 5-7 ft of water.

Tom, the fish that broke loose, was your hook tied directly to braid or a mono leader? I fish reservoirs that are old gravel pits. I tied a #4 Octo/circle directly to 40# braid and similar to your experience a three pound or so cat drug me over some rocks and cut the line. I was shocked to have that happen to braid that heavy. Maybe the line was damaged prior and I didn't pick up on it. I now use 20# big game and so far no breaks. Fishing is a learning curve and in my case I've yet to clear the curve!! Thanks for sharing. You landed some nice cats.

This was 20lb mono, both main line & leader. Mono is much more abrasion resistant than braid, but still no match for a sharp rock.

I have electronic bite alarms and they are a waste of money. I'm stareing at my rods constantly. My claim to OCD I guess.
