leah lorraine I understand what you’re saying but I get the impression that her friends just weren’t interested in those particular hobbies so they just wouldn’t have gone period. While we like to state that opposites attract... with Eva’s statement it reflects more of the notion that birds of a feather flock together. These young ladies are now young adults and no longer teens.. they’ve come into who they are as individuals and have chosen friends who reflect who they are and not who they’ve been!

I don't think the "squad" was actually ever REAL friends, I feel like they only hung out because of TH-cam but I don't think you should act like you didn't have fun times. You guys did look like you had a lot of fun and was close to a certain point but you just wanted something different. BUT I hate the way you and the squad deals with this stuff especially with the shade. Teala said in her video, "Well I haven't seen Eva since October so..." Like shit, talk to each other, why allow this to happen then shade each other online. That's not what real friends do. If you felt that way you should have told them. Not disappear from them then shade them months later ON TH-cam! And judging by Teala's video you didn't cut them off Eva, you just stopped talking to them. You should have been honest with them because I'm sure you would never allowed that to happen with your Hawaii friends. Take a look in the mirror and notice you can also be just as toxic.

I’m sort of starting to see the side to Teala and especially Sierra that I have a feeling is the side Eva is trying to grow away from. It has become really apparent that social media is a huge catalyst to how insecure Sierra is, she talks so negatively about herself constantly, I feel like she just radiates a deep insecurity only time will heal and for that, she’s probably just toxic to Eva now without even realising it. I don’t mean any hate at all because I actually love Sierra and have been subscribed to her for years, but if I’m being purely honest I would understand how it would be hard for Eva to be around her these days. Teala I just don’t understand at all tbh, I just see, for lack of a better word, a facade. That’s okay, they’ll experience their journey and soul searching on their own terms, but when you grow at different rates this shit happens. Idk why people make such a big deal when people stop being friends?? I’m constantly trying to grow and better myself, and there are some people in my life who, when I hang out with them, I feel like it’s just the same shit and that they’re comfortable staying where they’re at while I’m trying to move on. So I have no problem cutting people out of my life who don’t want to grow with me, or who put me down when I try to live my best life. It’s not rude, it’s not heartless, it’s HEALTHY. Because I have always been independent so none of the friends I used to talk to I talk to anymore. Whereas my cousin, she’s very dependent on her friends so she has had her friends since elementary.

I think in some sense you do need to cut people out your life in order to grow. I've had lots of toxic friendships and when I stopped being around them I started to prosper and grow. You can't have weeds in your backyard if youre trying to grow a garden🤷🏾♀️

I can guarantee that in about 5 to 10 years you will be in a different and more mature space in your life and realize how poorly you handled your "transition" to your new life. When you don't have the same interests or goals with your friends it is OK to see less of them but it is never OK to just chuck them out of your life if they haven't wronged you. They loved you.

Eva this is the most important video I think you've ever done. You opening up about not living to your fullest potential and convictions and knowing your purpose and dreams but holding on to things not suited for you anymore. I couldn't relate more. I have been wrestling with myself for so long, holding myself back by trying to make others happy and keep them around, but never achieving what brings me happiness and peace. And that is really hard for someone to go through. I have so much I want to do, how I want to live, and I know if I work hard I can have it, but I have to be brave and say goodbye to things holding me back that don't feed my soul. I totally agree with Eva. She’s maturing as a person and her LA friends just aren’t on the same page with her. There’s nothing wrong with her wanting to be around people with the same interests as her. You don’t have to stay friends with people forever just because you have history. Take Biotin and get box braids. That’s a really good protective style. Plus your scalp will be out so you’ll still be able to achieve that goal of your scalp being able to breathe. Then try twists. Do a deep condition, twist it, leave the twists in for a 1-3 days then take them out for a new style.

@@user-by2bu3pv4e you can search it on here something like "savage squad meredith/eating disorder" and find a video with all of Eva's rude tweets about it when she outed her, and meredith did an instagram post recently where she compared how she looked in two pictures and finally opened up about her eating disorder. and someone commented saying they dont like how her friends handled it and made it all public, and idk if she kept the comment up or not but she responded and said something like "yeah, it just made things way worse tbh". it just bugs me that eva claimed she "read books" and "researched it" but then publicly outed her and publicly dumped her. like its okay to let go of a friend if their issues are weighing you down, but if you truly care about someone enough to research how to help them then you would know thats not a good way to handle it and puts them more at risk :/ sorry for rambling. as someone who has struggled with an ED for ten years it really upset me. meredith is friends with teala again now that she came out about it and i guess teala wasnt as bad or blunt with her tweets at that time (other than using it for clickbait saying she was "Addressing the issue/savage squad" all the damn time without really saying anything just so people would watch it) but eva really went off and put it all out there on twitter. i just hope teala realizes that relapse is more often than not a part of recovery and she wont drop her again if she doesnt fully recover immediately, because thats pretty impossible to do.

It has become really apparent that social media is a huge catalyst to how insecure Sierra is, she talks so negatively about herself constantly, I feel like she just radiates a deep insecurity only time will heal and for that, she’s probably just toxic to Eva now without even realising it. I don’t mean any hate at all because I actually love Sierra and have been subscribed to her for years, but if I’m being purely honest I would understand how it would be hard for Eva to be around her these days. I feel like you're the toxic friend/person. Yes, people grow apart and gain different interests but you don't need to shade your old friends and basically belittle them because you feel you're better, more intellectual, more "woke" etc. You were shading them for so long when you were in Hawaii under the guise of being "philosophical". There's nothing wrong with using your 20s to find yourself and explore different phases & ponder philosophies of life! These are all things I'm into (nature, travel, star gazing, environmentalism, etc.) But I would never feel the need to shade someone who has different interests than me to put myself on some kind of pedestal. That's not "woke".

My friends don’t have to have the same interests as me or be on the same life path. Friendship is about growing together and learning from one another. And they don’t seem like the type of people to shun her beliefs or desires. She just wanted people to follow her lead and do whatever she wanted on a whim it seems and that’s not what friendship is.
I TOTALLY feel you on the cinematography topic. I've always wanted to film travel/lifestyle kind of videos but NO OTHER GIRLS seem to share the same passion as me for it. So for right now I'm just sticking to storytimes 🤷🏻♀️on instagram though, I've started to change my style a little! It's just hard because I feel like no one else gets the vision. Honestly you're kind of a hypocrite. You threw shade at Meredith in the past for dropping you and Teala and Sierra without any explanation and now you're doing the exact same thing to them. I can guarantee that in about 5 to 10 years you will be in a different and more mature space in your life and realize how poorly you handled your "transition" to your new life. When you don't have the same interests or goals with your friends it is OK to see less of them but it is never OK to just chuck them out of your life if they haven't wronged you. They loved you.

Eva this is the most important video I think you've ever done. You opening up about not living to your fullest potential and convictions and knowing your purpose and dreams but holding on to things not suited for you anymore. I couldn't relate more. I have been wrestling with myself for so long, holding myself back by trying to make others happy and keep them around, but never achieving what brings me happiness and peace. I totally agree with Eva. She’s maturing as a person and her LA friends just aren’t on the same page with her. Take Biotin and get box braids. That’s a really good protective style. Plus your scalp will be out so you’ll still be able to achieve that goal of your scalp being able to breathe. Then try twists. Do a deep condition, twist it, leave the twists in for a 1-3 days then take them out for a new style.
