I love the animation in that you can see that before Irma shoots any water, the droplets gather around her, and then she collects to form a water jet or wave. I mean, it's obviously not realistic to make a wave of water from just droplets you collected from the moisture in the air, but this is still so cool and I love the attention to detail. ATLA is still more realistic, but you can still like this. At the end of the day, it's magic, so realism is not really too much of a concern.

Seen some of y'all say Katara vs Irma... so I just wanted to share my thoughts. Y'all, you have to remember the Magic system (or whatever) is different in both shows. Of course, Irma has more control and access to water, bcs she can take small sources of water and make them into giant waves and jets. Katara has access to the same water sources, but she can't multiply the amount of water she has as Irma can. The main difference is their control over their element. Katara has a much more finite control over water. She can make it into whips, use it as transportation, use it to cut things, etc. and she has control over it in all 3 states (idk how much power Irma has with water in other states. Most of the time, it's Hay Lin that helps her freeze water, but we've seen her make Ice and manipulate snow before... but I'd still say the advantage goes to Katara in terms control water in different forms). Irma has access to more water cause of her magic, and she has the same control over it as Aang would in the Avatar state, so that's where she one-ups Katara. But, she's not the most creative with how she uses her powers. In most cases, it's Irma just shooting water at her opponent. Their sub-powers (or whatever you wanna call them) are healing and bloodbending for Katara and then telepathy for Irma. They have both shown to have the capacity to control the water in plants in human beings... to some extent. In a fast-paced fight, Katara's healing wouldn't be much help but her bloodbending gives her control over someone's physical body. Irma has only ever removed water from living sources, whereas Katara, again, has shown more creativity and control. So, who would win in a fight?? It's pretty circumstantial... and in my opinion, is dependant on a lot of facts... but I think it could go either way...

what bothers me the most is the big difference between the animation and the books. the characters are way more flat, and some of them are important in the books, and are almost inexistant in the serie. in th books, they share a lot their feelings so that you can understand them, their decisions, and actions. in the animation, everyone seems superficial.
