- This is hands down one of my most popular video questions! What jobs can you do remote that does not require people?! Well, how about Data Entry?!?!?!? Working phone jobs can be brutal. People ask a million different questions, feel entitled, and just are plain rude. Going through that for 8 hours a day five days a week can be exhausting! It really is. I struggle to keep public-facing jobs because of mine +PTSD. Channels like this are a Godsend for finding home-based streams of income.

I actually felt dread when working as a call center person, it was enrollment for medicaid, and people get really nasty, some are okay though. They just need to get a plan and it can be a serious situation concerning children or elderly. If anyone has that gift of helping, I praise them for that. I unfortunately experience anxiety attacks regarding adherance, cried on the spot when a supervisor came to my desk one time, and lost my job to covid-19 last year. I was still in training and they let all the people go still training, and I really tried to get call outs to pass training, it was just not happening... Same with some education related positions, a few anxiety attacks and lost those jobs too. I didn't qualify to get disability for anxiety since I would have to be a mental case according to the doctors who test people, apparently... I do have a knack in data entry and even art, but I feel unable to keep people focused jobs. Maybe there's a middle ground but I have yet to find.

Some of the sites claim to have remote data entry and data processing but when you apply for the position they want someone to do surveys for money. Bait and switch.
I haven't tried any of them but do you mind mentioning those sites please...
yes, beware of these - you want to reply to actual companies who have actual data entry work - the job description will be detailed & you should search for company information before sending in your information.
When not taking a second language seriously in highschool makes you want to cry haha.

Thank you for posting this informative video. I really enjoyed it and appreciate it. I would like to suggest technical writing is another great job for introverts which has very minimal contact with people; writing owner's manuals, and "how to" instructions can be very lucrative too.
This is so helpful! I'm looking to make a career change. I'm currently a CNA, but I need to do something else where I can actually expand my skills and not have to spend so much time with people. It is way too people-y out there!

I HATE CALL CENTERS!!!! I worked for at least 5 call centers "well known" and one place was telemarketing. It was selling solar panels. I kind of do not mind calling people if I am telling them something rather than asking them something. I have yet to work at home but I have a BUNCH of experience typing but would not call myself a fast typist.

I am an introvert but having a harder time finding right job due to my disability (deafness) because I want a remote job. Data entry is the key for me. Upwork and Fiverr, aren’t exactly ideal because I had several scammers contacting me. So for posting this vid so that I have general idea.

Thanks for the info! My husband and I will look into it. My job started cutting hours due to loss of our customers during pandemic. Some of our major customers either relocating to another state or had to close down. Hope everyone find a job through those website you provided! Good luck to us!

This isn't WFH but as an introvert I truly enjoy my job because I work alone with minimal customer interaction or supervision. I'm a field merchandiser or retail merchandiser for a certain card company. Now I know it's not steady hours and it is part time but I was a SAHM who needed extra income and it was perfect, super flexible as well. There are plenty of companies out there who provide this service that may provide more hours, it's also a good supplemental job if you have a flexible WFH job. Definitely worth looking into.

What does that job entail?
@@9lemonlime sorry for not replaying sooner. It's physically demanding as you have to bend often and lift heavy boxes. You also need to be quick because you do have a budget of hours per store depending on the week. You're making sure the department is full and stocked. The only time I have to interact with anyone is when I have to tell them I don't work for the store only for the greeting cards or I ask if someone needs guidance in finding a card and that just usually entails me showing them the section. Sometimes I'll help an older person actually pick out a card but that's rare. You do need to make sure you build a relationship with the managers which is quick chit chat but they mostly want to see you're doing your job well and keeping things stocked and not a mess.

I'm interested in this. I used to do customer service, but I developed a health condition where a stressful call with a customer would make me physically ill. Had to quit that job.
I am preparing to be trained for this particular endeavor, my only question is, if I work this career remotely, then what is the slowest recommended internet speed for data entry?
I ask this because I do not want to have to stick to big cities only... but nor do I want to be a hermit in the countryside either. A small metro area (500k or less metro population) that is not full of allergies and pollution nor sports-obsessed, rude or passive-aggressive and does not completely shun vegan girly girls (especially as I do not drink, smoke or watch horror videos either) like me is my dream environment. 🎀🌺🦄🌈🦋✨💖 I love people, just not some people's wrong behavior (especially when deliberate) that they can learn to fix themselves.

I’ve witnessed my dad do calls from home for ten years and customers are SOOOO horrible. I can NEVER go through that myself. I refuse to allow other people to treat me as if I’m beneath them.
I am praying people are being raised better than that, no one should have to be treated like that

I’m in a position where I had my toddler in daycare but I had to quit my job bc I had to call off every week bc he was continuously sick from daycare. I tried Verizon but it was too noisy and I’m just tired and ready to cry. I genuinely need to work from home no phones!

I actually sell my own designs on there. It’s very easy. My friend from college just started a page selling pet portrait art!
