Mountains in Philippines are awesome like in Aklan and Negros. You just need to hike like a professional and sometimes, be ready to have leeches in your legs. The mountain tourism in Philippines is not really developed because the forests/jungles are so thick. And many Mountains, esp with thick jungle, were declared as protected areas. But you can visit, just get a local permit.
There are many mountain resorts in Negros for comfort.
When I was young, we had to hike and shower in spring water, in between, to visit our relatives. We have school trips to water falls that we need to hike, I like comfort, so I do not want to do it when got old.
European vibe thingy of mountain, then it is Batanes iskands.
Ann... there's a lot of mountains that maybe you try in the Philippines. Mt. Pulag (Sea of Clouds), As well as in Tanay Rizal, Mt. Pinatubo too. hehe. more mountainssss. hope to see you hike too. ⛰️⛰️⛰️

I always go to Japan for Ramen, but you can easily get same kind of Ramen in Philippines, although more expensive. My frustration with Japan is until now, I have never eaten a Ramen Nagi type of ramen in Japan. So I still appreciate Ramen Nagi in Philippines. Ramen is Life lol

Basically it is a cost vs first world facilities. If a person thinks that canada is getting expensive like switzerland, then maybe thailand or philippines is the best option. I mean i lived in canada for more than 2 years, besides being damn cold, canada is a beautiful country as well. Good infrastructure.

Canada is very Cold and I heard in Summer there are a lot of Mozzies aka Mosquitoes in the Northern Regions ! Vancouver is probably the most habitable place I reckon !!

I’m surprised el nido beaches didn’t make your list. Heading to El Nido and Bohol beaches this fall and I wonder which of the two will stay in my heart. Peace.
Oh we did say palawan for our top 3 destination in the Philippines. That’s including El nio and coron :) and im sure you’ll love both bohol and el nido. Theyre both beautiful:)

i understand why you love the beach cos you grew up in Alberta where there is no beach. And even if you are from British Columbia or Nova Scotia where there are beaches, but these beaches are not as beautiful and good for swimming as in the Philippines, haha.
