Please remove the subtitles beneath that follow, they are very disrespectful, distracting and almost to the point of idiocy. The subtitles that originate with the video are good but the additional subtitles, I fail to see the point of them, as they're all wrongly worded.
If I remember uthman ibn talha radiallahu anhu accepted islam way before the conquest of makkah so I doubt the authenticity of this video please don't get me wrong
You are correct. Ibn Hajar رحمه الله, in Al-Isabah 4/450, says that his conversion during the Fath (Opening of Makkah) is munkar. And that it is well known that he converted together with 'Amr Ibn Al-'Aas and Khalid Ibn Walid رضي الله عنهم, Safar 8th AH. Al-Waqidi in his Magazi 2/741 mentions the story of how 'Amr Ibn Al-'Aas رضي الله عنه converted. After Al-Hudaybiyyah he said Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم will enter Makkah next year. So he took some men from Banu Sahm (his clan) that obeyed him and proposed: Let's go to the Negus, if Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم is victorious we'll be there. So they set out and took leather with them as gifts to the Negus. Umm Habiba bint Abu Sufyan رضي الله عنهما who was in Abyssinia was widowed after her husband 'UbaidAllah bin Jahsh converted to christianity and died in Abyssinia. So the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم sent 'Amr bin Umayyah Ad-Damri رضي الله عنه as a Messenger to the Negus with a marriage proposal to the widowed Umm Habiba رضي الله عنها. That's when 'Amr Ibn Al-'Aas رضي الله عنه and his companions landed in Abyssinia and saw 'Amr bin 'Umayyah Ad-Damri رضي الله عنه coming out from the Negus' court. So he took the leather and gave it as gifts. Once the Negus was pleased, he asked him if he could kill 'Amr bin 'Umayyah Ad-Damri رضي الله عنه due to being a follower of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم. The Negus hit 'Amr Ibn Al-'Aas رضي الله عنه on the nose until he bled for asking that. The Negus told him to follow Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم as he will be victorious just like Moses عليه السلام was over the Pharaoh. And that's how 'Amr Ibn Al-'Aas رضي الله عنه decided to become a Muslim. He took a ship to Al-Shu'aiba just below Jeddah, then a riding beast to Al-Hudaybiyyah were he meets Khalid Ibn Al-Waleed and 'Uthman bin Talha رضي الله عنهما who were themselves on their way to Al-Madinah to embrace Islam. Then when they arrived, 'Amr رضي الله عنه says that he will only give the pledge of allegiance to Islam if his past sins are forgiven, and the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم told him that sincere conversion to Islam and an accepted Hajj by Allah سبحانه وتعالى removes all past sins and crimes that were done in the past. That's the correct story.
