Excellent video. I thought I would have to install Meshcommander separately, once I turned on AMT in the BIOS, my existing mesh client showed that it was AMT capable and asked for a password. Very seamless. Thanks!
When doing hardware KVM to Intel AMT, there will be flashing borders on the display of the Intel AMT device. These can't be removed. It's designed to make sure user privacy is maintained. I think there are specific IoT SKU's of Intel AMT that don't have these borders, but you have to buy a special version of the device.
I am facing a issue I install MeshCentral for my Home PC winows 11 and from my office imac when i am going to acess as RDP, i cant do full screen, can you tell me how tit is possible like google chrome remote desktop that can do.
This is an excellent product for remotely restarting machines if there is a power outage and machines are in a stuck state. The only issue I am having is when I start remote desktop I don't see any video. I can type, and it shows on the remote machine but no video in Meshcentral. I suspect this is because I am using a third party nvidia video card for my primary video and not the built in intel video card. Is there any way around this?
Hello, first thank you for yor work! Im trying to install Mesh Commander on clean installation of Windows 11, but installation ends with error (installer was ended prematurelly due to any error). Doesnt you know, what can be problem? Are Windows 11 compatible? I tried to rest any Windows installer service, clean temp etc, but nothing helped... Thank you for any advice.
MeshCommander is pretty simple and I tried it on Windows 11 and it should work. If you have a computer that has it installed already, you can zip or copy the install folder to your Windows 11 machine and run "nw.exe" and it should work. I am getting back from a 6 week vacation, if I get a chance I will try to install it again on my Windows 11 machine and see if I can spot any issues. If you have more details, that would be great.
@@MeshCentral Thank you for your reply! I tried it twice on Windows 11, both times clean install, with all updates etc. For both times same problem. Finally I went back to Windows 10, where was Mesh Commander installation on same machine straightforward, without any problem. Unfortunatelly I dont have more infoabout that error on Win11.
You have to activate Intel AMT first, you can do that in the MEBx (which you often access using CTRL-P at boot time). The default user name will be "admin" and the password will be the password you set in MEBx. Hope that helps.
@@surinderkumar9560 if you want to remote control the pc when the operating system is running, use Mesh Central. This doesn’t have the border. If you want to control the machine while it’s booting or in the BIOS setup etc, then you have to use AMT and the border is enforced by AMT for security and privacy.
the simplest video explains AMT, thank you very much

Nice and clear instructions. Thank you! This works great!
Hello, What hardware will support Intel AMT? Can you give me a link to check?

Awesome video! Many thanks! 👍
hi Ylian, how can I disable those borders flashing on corners? it doesn't show when I do it with meshcentral.

Hi, are you still available for questions on MeshCentral and Intel AMT?

Yes, you have to connect a dummy video adapter to make vPro "think" there is a standard video adapter connected.

@@MeshCentral a question, can you configure the video memory in that intel menu?
Can this be done with a static IP?
Thank you

how to disable the yellow color border from client side
For privacy and security, this border can't be disabled when using Intel AMT KVM.
@@MeshCentral If Any other options available apart from intel AMT kvm which should not appear any kind of border on the client machine. pls suggest
