Hi all! I made this short mini build several weeks ago, but it was affected by some technical issues. Now everything looks fine (otherwise let me know). But yeah, it's just a fun little build I did while I had a bit of spare time about three weeks ago - as always, if you enjoy my content, I would REALLY appreciate a like 👍 - and if you've got a comment, related to this video, or anything else on this channel for that matter - feel free to comment below and I will do my best to answer! 💭
Currently working on a new long episode of the Coniferia series 😊
Hope you all have a great day!

Any chance you can link to what highway assets you use please? Great build!

Despite its apparent simplicity, this is quite a challenging build. You squeezed in a small trumpet intersection on uneven land. It looks good!

Hello Infrastructurist! I just wanted to say that im a big fan of your channel. One of my favorite pass-times is to watch your speed builds while i play some nostalgic-melancholic song in the backround and simply get lost in the worlds your build.
I wanted to suggest something though. I really would like to see you create something with more of a tropical island theme. Something like Cuba or the Caribbean. Something that has this old colonial style mixed in with communist style and tells a story of how these islands were changed by different goverments and dictatorships, the struggle of the people and the isolation from the world. Not like 1 big island but many smaller islands together, each with their own feel and secrets. Now thats where im gonna get completely lost

Hi Cyclone - thank you so much for the fantastic comment!
And a really interesting suggestion, thanks a lot! Currently I don't have anything specific planned, so am open to suggestions like yours!

Actually what if this sort of tropical Carribean area would be in a sort of distant island in Coniferia since the region is seaside? Kinda like what 2d20 is trying out with sunset city eventually

Yeah there is a bit of oldschool Infra vibe to this one... Cozy little build :-D

Very nice result! Just an observation... that Town clearly needs more quality driving schools around! Saw what that blue car was doing? xD

THanks a lot S-OWL - and you are correct, either more driving school or more optic shops for people to buy glasses :D

This is named "Coniferia" so I assume it's kinda Pacific Northwest/British Columbia based?
That harbour needs a seaplane dock. Seaplanes are ever present in every PNW city, big to small. Seattle, Vancouver, and every little town in between has seaplane service.
It would be a pretty unique build and something I haven't seen before! (and yeah, I'm biased!)

Hi Ryan A! Thanks for the comment - it's actually a bit of a weird mix with inspiration fron Canada, NZ, Australia and North American - without being restricted to any one particular theme. With that said, that is a really cool idea 😎

Very nice build. Road networks and interchanges in a speedbuild somehow calms my brain haha.
Is there a backstory/reason as to why this interchange has been added? Are you planning new development in the region that needs the interchange in the near future perhaps!?

Hi Steyn, thanks a lot for the comment, im glad it helps calm your brain! :D
Yes! there simply wasn't an interchange there in the first place, so there wasn't an easy connection from the northwestern part of the region to the southwestern part - traffic had to travel eastwards, then turn south towards Pine Harbour 😊

2 hour to create? 4 hour edit?

    • @Infrastructurist
      @Infrastructurist  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

hahaha - not quite 2 hours to create actually, it wasn't all that bad! Don't remember the specifics though, as it was recorded almost 3 weeks ago :-D
