How to use the Convotherm mini combi oven: In your fast food restaurant

  • Discover how the Convotherm mini, our fully-fledged compact combi oven, can help you to operate your fast food or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR). Using less fat, taking up less space, it is highly flexible and thanks to KitchenConnect®, data and menus can be easily shared across all outlets.
    Space is tight in the QSR environment - the mini measures just 51.5cm or 20” wide, yet is small and flexible enough to meet all your needs, and can be used in both manual and automatic cooking modes. With square meter pricing on the rise, kitchens are getting smaller. This is why the mini, an all-in-one platform, is ideal in QSR, particularly as they can be stacked one on top of the other.
    The mini will prevent blocking of larger units and ensure that ovens are available during busiest times such as breakfasts. It is always ready to go - running 24/7 with background temperature.

    Let us walk you through a typical day, starting with breakfast, using automatic cooking mode to cook from frozen a range of items such as hashbrowns and bacon. The mini handles mixed loads efficiently - simply select the right profile and the mini automatically matches the profiles that work together.
    In general, there is no need to buy new pans - the mini is compatible with both Gastro Norm (GN) and US pan sheets. Some accessories are particularly helpful in QSR: for example, the egg tray and the basket accessory for crisping items, no need to fry! It helps to brown and crisp, giving great color and consistent results. As an all-in-one platform, the mini saves time, space and investment as there is no need for multiple pieces equipment.
    Cooked items can served immediately, in this case we create a breakfast burger, or they can be popped into the holding cabinet and used to build the perfect snack when required.
    Learn about two special features: automatic heat loss compensation automatically adds time to the running program when the oven door is opened. The two-stage door lock is a safety feature that minimizes burn risk.

Here we demonstrate Crisp&Tasty a feature that produces perfect crispiness, extends product life in holding by avoiding overcooking and reduces food waste.       The new oven generation has the Convosene option. This automatically recognises which product is currently inserted into the oven. Whether baking or meat. It's a great thing.

      @@resdiansyahsutrisno413 Convosense is already adjusted during production. The product setting only takes a few minutes. This works fastest with convenience products. I hope I have been able to help you.
