I always say don't sleep on Chaeng's vocals. She has one of the most beautiful tones in Twice in my opinion. Maybe my favorite next to Mina.

Switch to me is actually a fairly recent song by Mister JYP himself featuring Rain. It's got a pretty legendary mv actually. You should totally check it out!
what I like about Chaeyoung is she pretty visualized what she wanted to do. In the Off My Face behind the scenes, she clearly stated what vibe she wanted the video to have and decided to film it in the forest.
Chaeyoung is very much involved in TWICE productions more than what people gave her credit to. As an artist, she designed TWICE Page Two limited edition album cover, designed their tshirt for Twiceland concert and also designed Dance the Night Away poster.
If you are aware of their Born this Way cover, Chaeyoung made it happen. She wanted to perform the song and was rejected but due to her continuous persuasion, the management finally agreed. She directed it and chose who among the other TWICE members will perform it with her.
Switch to Me is a cover. The original is a duet by Rain and JYP at the end of 2020. FYI Dreamcatcher's Jiu and Sua also covered this song.

Jihyo's melody project just hits different.
I got teary-eyed when I first heard it even though I don't know the lyrics.. I mean it's still gets me emotional every time I listen to it ❤️
Sana has a cover of a japanese song called "graduation", kobukuro invited her to sing with them so there's a solo sana version and one with the group.
Jeongyeon doesn't have a melody project but she has an ost that she sang with her sister called "like a star".
And yes "perfect world" is such a good album, you'll be surprised with some of their voices👀

Answering some of your questions.
-Dahyun and Chaeyoung's melody is a cover. When they make subunits for their concerts they did it with covers since until last year they made subunits for their own songs, in 2019 they sang Born this way (Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Chae, Mina), dance for you (Sana, Dahyun, Tzuyu) Godbye (Momo,Jihyo).
-Yes, Chaeyoung has written several songs and many times when they do special stages she writes her own raps as well, like with Greedy.
-And yes, Dahyun has a lot of piano covers, she's so good at it.
-Sana has a cover of a Japanese song but it's not exactly a melody project. She said she wants to do some later this year. th-cam.com/video/jn47nrQPexg/w-d-xo.html
-Jeongyeon doesn't have one yet. I'm still waiting patiently.
Nayeon also did a live of that song with her mom prior to releasing this cover. It's so sweet 🥺❤ and yes, Chae has been writing songs even before debut (Sixteen, she wrote her own raps), if im not mistaken, she's the most credited female idol from a big 3 company, and has composed a Japanese song. Ace.
i really love the dubchaeng cover switch to me by rain ft. jyp, and of course the others song too but this cover really fun to watch again and again lol, and yea dahyun playing piano with her foot like the iconic jyp at his concert (sorry if i'm wrong), because she told us when they shooting their cover mv behind the scene
tbf momo pretty much sounds like this on their songs that sound similar, also nayeon was the one behind the camera for most of that MV

Yes Chaeyoung actually the first member to be involved in writing (2016) and first one who wrote & composed a song (Japanese track). She has the most writing credits so far :)
sana and momo also have japanese collaborations. sana's is "graduation" a special clip on japan twice yt channel and momo's is "superhero" on the yukaDD yt channel. unfortunately jeongyeon is the only member without a melody project as she expressed before that she wasn't comfortable making one. but recently she said that she will do one soon!
yes, Dahyun has a lot of piano covers. she's great at that instrument. I mean greattttttt. She's one of the few pitch-perfect idol. Any piano notes she can distinguish
- as a 4 year Once, you prolly won't see a chaotic Mina. It is very rare for her to raise the volume of her voice. But 1 thing is, she has a weird side, weird personality that makes her sooooo cute. the random little things she do that if u notice it will make u smile ahshahhshahs the waddles, little noises, random weird yet cute dance step

You're so right about not needing to speak the language to feel the weight of the emotions behind the vocals. There are songs by Twice, IU and Bol4 that bring me to tears just from the emotion in their vocals.

Funny when you said during Mina 1st melody project "Did they know back then that they will be the Nation gg" because actually the answer is yes, they were named the "Nation GG" by the korean public & media during that time (2016) which is crazy because they were literally a rookie group , they got that name after 7/8 months from their debut;
In regards of your questions about: Mina personality : she is introverted/calm (but I can assure u there's no normal person in Twice, they are bunch of "8 introverted+1 Extroverted" crackheads) . Mina has a weird, funny and "awkward" side, she is smart & original ; be careful when she switch to her "Sharon side" (Mina English name) she get seductive & sexy.
I think Chaeyoung wrote all her raps in Twice songs & even covers, plus she wrote the lyrics of couple of Twice songs (the rest of TW members did too)
MOMO & Dahyun covers are not melody projects just covers gifts for fans.
Nayeon did a couple of great covers too (some were gifts to fans during her birthday) & she has a melody project an Ariana song "love is everything" if u want u can check them (& Mina had a new one)
I wish JYPE would release a melody project album compilation or at least make them available on streaming.
