I agree it should be a option but there is nothing wrong in making your game better a majority if not most game studios don't even care to update or put time into there games like they have for almost 30 updates now. Anyone here play bioshock? Because it was released on windows vista it crashed constantly so they give the remastered versions of 1,2 and infinite if you had em in your steam account. To me one of the best moves that company has ever made.
For a game that's constantly crashing after last update, the last thing I want in this is more performance leeching mechanics, unless they make it a seamless part of the environment that doesn't take 50% of the games allocated resources, alas, I think for that to happen they need to design the game with that since the start.
I can only imagine a hard downpour with low visibility. The sound of rain fall drowning out almost all other sounds ...it would be creepy. Won't be able to hear the zombies as good but then again they won't really be able to sense you.
I just want to see more variety with the character models. More male and female faces. I know that body shapes and sizes would be difficult to implement, but adding new faces/hairstyles shouldn't be difficult. More voice actors would be great as well but realize that that may not be cost effective.
I agree but the voice actors are fine that will cost too much, I do really want new clothing options aswell and maybe some new faces for the females would be really nice

Ferals, juggs and screamers should have their blood plague removed in Lethal, once all the plague hearts are destroyed - that will fall into line with normal zombies. Ideally building icons need to remain white until every container has been emptied. That way the player can see they left something in a container, possibly in a previous play session.
I think the issue regarding building icons is easily resolvable, given plague hearts icons now follow this approach. @Trigger444 Looting is an important element to the game and players do have their own preferences in how and what they loot. Your idea would prevent a potentially needless journey for a player.
The game looks incredible, cant wait to start a new run. All this game needs now is a fully fledged COO-OP mode that allows full access to all game functions simultaneously. PLEEEEEEASE make this happen! Keep up the great work!
This is my favourite game of all time. I always come back to it every update. So happy the graphical changes are coming. I would love to see more finishing moves and possibly buffs to the existing skill builds. Even a whole new tier, as in after max level there is another 5 star tier to master level. But I understand this would probably be very hard to implement. One idea I had to buff the assault skill: When it's maxed out it would be cool to have the ability to be able to carry two primary weapons, one in the primary slot and one side arm slot. e.g: FAL and a grenade launcher. Also, an animation when you run through doors you kick them instead of hip and shouldering.
I hope Undead Labs can add "loot" on freaks after killing them. Also, there is a bug at the ending scene of legacies, which is some dialogue lines doesn't have sound, it just muted. Hope you can fix it as well. Anyway, thanks for your hardwork for all this time
As someone with motion sickness, I did notice the slight change when changing the FOV slider with the stretching effect but it feels more smoother at 100 when looking around compared to 70. VR games tend to trigger my motion sickness more often.
Any chance of an alternate UI option that makes the stamina and health into flat bars for those of us who play without the minimap on. It's odd having a semi-circle of health and stamina when the map is turned off. Just looks out of place.
Hey guys, love your work, huge fan of the series since game 1 launch. On original Xbox one, just wanted to let you know my screen is super grainy since the graphics update, like, really really bad. I'd love to see other communities evolving in the games world over time, like say the people you rescued can be sent to or escorted to small safe areas that you cleared previously & you can expand their safe zones as the game goes on.
The thing I love about this game is when you're chilling in your base and someone in your community says what they used to love doing before the pandemic, You can really relate to some of the things they say. There was one member where she said she loved going for drives at night and seeing where the road tool her. It makes you feel close to them. But Please work on the Ai for update 30. They need huge improvements! Also Please update the bases a little bit or give us new ones! Thank you
Love this game, my first game I played on Xbox when I started two years ago, and still playing it . Only thing I really would love is to be able to deposit resource rucksacks in outposts ( and withdraw them) . Be great for those missions that come up when you far from base .
I really love how good this game and community is but I get sad sometimes because eventually this really rare type of thing will go away then it's back to playing bad games with CEOs making everything worse for money.
One of my pet peeves of Elder Scrolls games was that night time and dungeons were so bright that it made items like torches basically useless items. You had no need for them. And that can carry over to other games like this, where the night is bright enough that Geoffrey didn't even bother using the headlights while driving around at midnight. My concern is that having too bright of nights will make light sources like flashlights to illuminate your path will become obsolete. Having your vision obscured and needing to depend on light sources is a major factor of the tension at night, and making that a non factor will be a disappointment.
Just want to say this: populate outpost. Basically, to make an outpost you must leave a community member in the outpost, and specific outposts, like infirmary, should need a community member with the proper knowledge, health in the infirmary's case. Also need to put an antenna. The outpost would work like an allied enclave but you can reinforce it, build some rooms, like a bedroom, etc. You would have to help it survive some times. Also if you want to upgrade the outpost you need more members in it, 2 members to make a level 2 outpost, 3 to make a level 3. I know this is hard to do because the limitations on community members (and hard to code with the engine) but maybe for SoD3? Though I must say I miss having many community members like in SoD.
I've said this once and i'll say it again i think weapon conversion kits would be an absolute game changer, imagine your favourite AR and converting it too a 22. CMMG conversion kit whilst you go out and explore certain areas and swapping it back once your back at base. i think it'd be great especially since there's alot of conversion kits for a lot of the guns in real life granted i know it's a shot in the dark but just imagine holy
Cool idea, but there's better life improvements we could have added then some ammo conversion kit in the game. Edit: since were talking about guns & irl how about letting us craft & add different optics/scopes to the game!
Would really like to swap optics on weapons, being able to switch leaders without demotions, and have a 4th parking spot in the strip mall on Drucker County map
What this game really lacks in my opinion is mid/late game content. The main purpose in this game is survival, but after 10th day or so you have a self-sustaining base and good guns and you don´t have to forage anymore. So the survival aspect gets lost. So all you can do is just go for the plague hearts which is kinda too easy. I hope you guys add something to make this game more challenging in mid/late game. A player with >1000 hours in lethal zone
I have a lot of respect for the development team, even with the announcement of the third game they are still releasing such big updates for free. This is why I love this game and why it's one of my favourite of all time
You guys are the best! Is there a way you can add something like when you take over a spot or a outpost the loot there automatically goes into your community storage? If not no worries you guys are still the best!
love the work that has been done to the game . i would like to see two mod slots on base slots like two on the infirmary and work shop . i'd allso like better base bulding so you can uterlise the space in the base better where you get a grid and each fersilaty takes up so many squires and you have you have the space work for the need of your community.
One update id love to see is movement, we can't climb onto a small pebble, yet we can climb onto a container, or some fences we cant climb over yet other fences we can't, why can't we climb onto the roof of a car then jump onto a low roof....

Have you fixed the bloaters who spawn right in front of your car? Could you at least move the bloaters to the side of the rode. If you still wanted to punish people you can hide them behind flora

Way off topic but for anyone who preferred the blackness of night you can easily recreate it by dropping the gamma. When no light source means your only warning of danger is moans in the dark or maybe a pair of glowing eyes it adds an extra dash of dread.
the only thing that I don’t like about the graphics update is how the trees look in the distance in a bright time of day. Dying Light 2 has a similar problem.
If only other so-called AAA game studios could put in This much effort love and affection to their games like UL. And nearly all of these updates have been free. Still would like a option slider for Special zombies on-off.. Would like an experience without juggs, ferals and screamers.

The maps still feel too wide and empty. Like, especially around gas stations and shops. There should be less empty space around the buildings. It looks bad
I like the idea of playing without the HUD , but I wish we could al least keep the reticle on. I want to play without the HUD but shooting becomes impossible.
Could you guys rework leader system for future updates? It's kinda outdated and so far the only reason why you even need a leader is to grab their special building. There's no other reason to have a leader, outside couple of (exact same) missions. Also another suggestion is to add bit of a mid to late game content, the biggest issue with SOD2 is that after first couple of initial days after you become self-sufficient, game sorta becomes boring and repetitive. New infestations and sieges are good idea to improve mid-to-late game, so keep brainstorming, we really appreciate the support for the game and it's one of the reasons why I will buy SOD3.

Folks, more "realistic" might not be what people want, It's like turning Fallout 4 graphics into Fallout 3 Graphics. Sometimes people just want a good looking game to get lost in. Chainsmoking grit was never the full thrust of this game It's a zombie game that also show cases the natural beauties of America. and the abundance of shadows and grays really skews this in a direction that's unnecessary. Go to the Meager sliders of the Befores and Afters and really ask yourself when all the colors were taken out of Meager, what else is there? Was it better than what you had in abundance before?

It is a good idea, but it might be taxing on the older consoles.

Voice actors are super/too expensive they said in another stream so no more of that until game 3 i think.

I like the ‘building icons remain white’ idea. I sometimes leave non rucksack loot in buildings but there’s no way to tell if it’s still there

Update for more blood pleasee. Melee combat is so satisfying, gore is so satisfying, but it lacks of blood imo

I loved dark nights cause it makes the game so much more scarier and horror like since nothing is more scarier than the unknown.

But the problem with that is light sources would be too dark as well so it's not worth it unless you wanna keep changing the settings

Folks, more "realistic" might not be what people want,
It's like turning Fallout 4 graphics into Fallout 3 Graphics.
Sometimes people just want a good looking game to get lost in. Chainsmoking grit was never the full thrust of this game
It's a zombie game that also show cases the natural beauties of America. and the abundance of shadows and grays really skews this in a direction that's unnecessary.
Go to the Meager sliders of the Befores and Afters and really ask yourself when all the colors were taken out of Meager, what else is there? Was it better than what you had in abundance before?

Please give us the possibility to earn those Juggernaut jackets.. or if not, hide these un-earnable clothing from our "wardrobe" altogether.. it just drives me nuts always seeing the reminder that there are some clothing i can never have
