Obviously, it's not easy, it hurts and it's demanding to do, but punches are fake, moves are fake, it is performance not a fight, wrestling isn't a sport, it's a spectacle, tv show. Even in videogames you can memorize moveset you create of your wrestler, even if you give him many moves. It's not this "Technical masterpiece workrate clinic" fans talk about these days. Sure, being athletic helps, but it's not must have.

Most if not all wrestlers at some point in their careers don't have the fans behind them and get booed. It's part of the business. The win-loss records are fake and pre-planned. The actual action is done in a way to be as safe for the opposition as possible, but it is real. As Paul Levesque about his quad literally tearing off the bone, that was not fake. Ask Mark Callaway about his broken orbital bone or any other serious injury he's had. Ask Steve Williams about his broken neck and how he was legitimately paralyzed for several moments. These are still professional athletes that deal with serious injuries from their sport.
