Trip to Wookey Hole Caves and Attractions | September 2019

- Join Keith & Daisy at Wookey Hole where they enjoy a tour of the caves and also sample some of its other weird and wonderful (if a little random!) attractions.
In this video we take a trip to Wookey Hole in Somerset. Before heading to the caves we take a look around the gift shop and try our luck in the vintage penny arcade where the machines are operated with real old-fashioned pennies!
Then, it's into the stunning caves and tunnels with George our tour guide where we learn about the caves' history and hear about the Witch of Wookey Hole. We see where they mature the cave cheese and make some truly terrible cheese-based puns!
Outside the caves, we wander through the dinosaur park, children's play area and museum and have one last go in the penny arcade.
We are delighted to spot a life-sized Wookie/Wookey before buying some cave cheese to take back home.

Its been a long while since I have been too Wookey Hole.
When we went over the bridge bit last they had us all wear helmets.
We really loved the caves and they had a circus on when we went and it was really cool.

it was awesome in the caves,i think they are always looking for new chambers too. I was a bit surprised we weren't offered helmets tbh. I can totally see them having a circus there. Was all a bit "eclectic" in the immediate area xx
Cheers Ears We prefer Cheddar Gorge to Wookey Hole but it’s still a lot of fun and it’s cool to see the new caves that they uncover xx

I refused completely to go over the bridge! My dad took me and my sis through the cheese part instead haha xx
I went there when I was 12 and I'm 59 now. Never forgot it. Madame Tussauds had an exhibition there back then but that seems to have gone. The Hole itself is very spooky. Kids will love it.
This was definitely one of my favourite days out. The caves incredible and everything else was just so wonderfully weird
Dairy me. Slappy Mk II was ridiculously freaky. Loving all the cheese jokes & hope there will be a part two. A double cheddar if you will 😉 Your enthusiasm for caves and cheese knows no bounds. We were wondering if you may have discussed putting an annual pass straight in your basket (a staple saying in our house now). Brilliant as always 👏 Cheese ears
Aww cheers guys..it caught us off guard really. We didn't have any idea what to expect either. The caves were amazing. Slappy was a bit creepy though. Loving the cheese puns guys,we love "the despicable brie "🤣🤣 have a brilliant day !!
Aww love this 💕 We just vlogged Wookey Hole last week when we were on holiday in weston super mare. Was a good day out 😁

Went to wookey hole in the 90s when I was very young. Now I have a toddler I'm too excited about going back!
I remember, when I went all those years ago, stupid child me had to ask a stupid question... basically, I noticed a baby's shoe had fallen down one of the cave cliff edges and the tour guide asked if the group had any questions, I asked why there was a shoe down there... lovely tour guide helped make me feel so at ease by telling me there's a troll that lives down there who eats small children... reminds me of another time, when my parents took me to blackgang chine and my dad tried to feed me to one of the dinosaurs there.... FFS WHY WAS IT ALWAYS ME!?!?

Daniel medley owns wookey hole its my aunties husband but he is retiring in December because my auntie is pregnant

I probably hasn't changed much to be fair. It is kinda old and weird but I remains one of my favourite day out for some reason. I dont know why but I just loved it
This place is overpriced… but still a must see… and the mini golf is the worst in the world. Best thing about this place is the old arcade. And you went round this pace the wrong way round lol
