My parents do not normally help me get merch or concerts, the BTS chicago concert this May is the only one they've helped me afford. Using this method has really helped me (especially the goals and planning step) :)
all a long the video i was saying "right! right!" i do every single thing you say lol and it works! for me im just interest in cd's and dvd's besides goods of my bias, im still in collage studing arts so uni its so damn expensive, so i bake cupcakes and solde them, beside im a taylor so just sew for people and save that money for comebacks, goods and emergencies!! it works, its just discipline and self control 😊

Idk about monsta X, but i went to the BTS wings tour and they did sell merch there and light sticks, but the light sticks were 60$ there so I don't recommend buying them there since they're super expensive! if you want to buy merch make sure to come early 2 hrs early so the things don't get sold out bc that's what happened to me 😭 but yeah, hope this helps!

Usually I use the money I get for Christmas/birthdays to buy albums, but let me share my journey and what helps me. I have 12 albums at the moment and 3 lightsticks. I’m only 13 and during quarantine it’s hard to get any job. What I like to start out with is to get 3 albums for one group I want to focus on (usually one I have the lightstick for.) and I make sure that I have extra left over money saved up if I know the group is coming back soon so I can preorder. The biggest tip I have is to start out small and buy one or two things so you don’t break your wallet. Remember that you can do it!

If you are a big spender, like me (; Then a great tip is to find your monthly income and then half it, so for example, maybe you get like $100 a month? half it. 50-50 SO put $50 in a money box (one that you can't open and isn't tempting) and then have the other half ($50) spending so even though you won't be spending alot, if you don't have any self control like me and need to buy things all the time lol its better cause i can still buy things i want for myself and still saving money so in the future it will definitely be worth it because once the money box is full, you can cut it open and be welcomed to a wad of savings. Lets just say that you have been saving for a year (365 days, 12 months), this is what it would look like: You open your money box and you have: $600 worth of savings and throughout that year you would of had about $600 on things that you want. In my opinion, i find this really helpful, if you want you can even change the money to like 80 in the jar and 20 for spending each month. Trust me it helps alot, so you can fulfill your buying needs and still have a lot of savings.

Let me share u a tip ive used before when i was collectint but sold them off to pay for my school fees and i got scammed while trying to buy me and my friend a merch so u paid her back and bought an airpods so i lost quiet a lot og my merch.. I have just started collecting again (im using my grandmas acc since i forgot my pasword and its late) anyways when i have school since im still in 3rd year highschool last year 2nd year hs i always bring my own lunch and bfast even if i go to school at 12pm but yeah that saves a lot because i dont have to buy from the cafeteria so all of my money is $5 which is actually big enough for one day so for transportation to go to school and home is just barely a dollar so the rest, i either pay for a fee on school or i get to keep it. So thats like the hack, and if my friends wanna eat out i wont be embarassed to eat my meal that i brought. What i learned is take notes what you wanna buy first instead of going around with your money and buying things carelessly.

if your a young army for example (13 years old, which im currently am) i give my money to my mom so she could hide away the money in safe spot i currently have about $200 saved up i plan on saving up to $1500 also since im still young all of the events i get money from or get money from chores i give it to her

Well I don't earn so I have no money. Then how can I even save it. But I spend 800 dollar every month on kpop merch
What I do to save money for concerts:
- I buy only one version of each album;
- I don't usually buy photocards, only when I have extra money or the photocard is cheap;
- I rarely eat outside with my friends;
- Every month I keep 20 euros from my allowance in my money box;
- Some of my albums are birthday or Christmas presents from my friends;
I'm a student too, I don't work and my parents don't buy me everything! I'm not saying that y'all should do the same things, my comment is just to chat. ~
+ I don't buy Japanese albums or goods too, except when I go to concerts!
