Wow. I did not know how to draft the 6 panel mermaid bottom. But you made it soooooo easy for me to learn. But how many inches you went up from the bottom of the shirt to make it have a lil curve to the bottom?
Its actually based from the measurement of CF line , the length of CF line from waist to hem should be equal to the side seam, once you mark the length, connect it to the other side using french curve.
Hi Cen, if I use duchess satine for the wedding skirt, I want the flow to the Hem to be relaxed. How much in inches do you suggest I can use for the A-Line? And do you think the horsehair at the Hem will help in this regard? Or should I rather use Silk for the skirt part?
Hi Gwen , duchess satine will do 👍 theres no standard inches for the flare , you can go higher or lower than 6" 😊 . Horsehair will add structure on the hem if thats what your aiming for. . . Otherwise you can do rolled hem or double fold the hem then top stitch.

Hi Hanz , yung grainline imoortante yan sa lahat ng pattern na gagawin mo , yung grainline dapat naka-align sya or parallel sa selvedge ng tela. Kung hindi maayos ang grainline , ngiging twisted at hindi maganda bagsak ng garment.
And mermaid skirt pwede mag umpisa kahit saang level below the Hip Line, so pwede kang magumpisa few inches below the hip line , or knee level , above the knee or below the knee The problem sa mga knee level na mermaid, mahihirapan makapaglakad ang client. Hindi ko nirerecommend sa mga clients ko ang knee level na mermaid.
