Edit: I can recall the slim being more of a firm rubbery texture when we used to have them as kids . Gold, silver and maybe green male and female ones 🤔. I used to see them dangling on the bus windows too (naughty kids😂)
I had a load of these as a kid, I spent ages trying to get them to have babies but to no avail. Someone at my school threw one at the ceiling in the assembly hall and it got stuck there for years and shriveled up.
@@oddpodshow I think it did fall down eventually but it must have been up there for at least a couple of years before it did. I don't remember the slime being like that, it was more the putty-like slime; it was pretty easy to separate it from the alien.
I never had one of these, and they look so messy but so cool I would rather get the ones with the putty slime though just so it would make things a lot easier

There was also a rumour back in the day that if you put two together touching in the same pod and put them in the fridge and left them there a while, then the baby making would work. Of course I tried, to no avail 😂
Oh wow I didn't know the rumors when that specific ha ha 😅 crazy but love that we had rumors like that to bring fun nostalgic memories, now you could just check online and debunk it instantly
I have ruined a fair few fabric with this stuff. I remember kids telling each other if if you put 2 in a capsule they'd have babies. My habit of writing comments right as the video starts is cursing me again.... good to hear other kids having that rumour going around though. You could buy eggs with a big alien and small alien, but I think kids for some reason took that as the alien somehow creating the other baby one. I can still smell the slime they came with, the ones I bought had a stiffer slime.
Yeah they definitely had that more solid slime rather than this crazy sticky one. Was always fun hearing the crazy rumors about things back in the day 😁

that rumour spreads fast, i remember that! i had 100s of these in the 1990s, my fave were the double colour ones like half blue half silver
