Saving the Hazel Dormouse | Trailer

'Saving the Hazel Dormouse' is a short documentary exploring the plight of the hazel dormouse in the
UK, following the stories of conservationists racing against time to save them from extinction. The hazel
dormouse is teetering on the edge of extinction in the UK with a 70% decline since 2000. Since 1993,
over 1,000 dormice have been reintroduced into woodlands across the UK by Peoples’ Trust for
Endangered Species (PTES), the Wildwood Trust and partners as part of PTES’ annual reintroduction
programme.
