i upgraded OL'd+skilled up on two different accounts.... my resources... (wasted on main & alts) T T.. It's a lot of work just to make her viable (manual play, annoying full charge+fast charge mix, overloads, reaching s1/s2 damage cap, etc.). Thank you for the depth explanation why Trony is a tragically bad Nikke and pointing out some rare instances where she could be useful vs stating "Hot Garbage" and then a tirade of negative comments.
I'm usually lurking, but I want to say I appreciate you putting the mats into figuring her out. On my alt I avoid using Pilgrims and Limiteds with an exception for free units, so she's one of a small number of options available for that account. I started the account to try out how progression feels for somebody who got no Pilgrims and its been very fun. Working on filling out SR teams now, and I figured out the standard banner is really missing selfish B3 DPS, so I appreciate Trony as an addition to the game even if she's pretty transparently suboptimal.
I swear each time you missed 2 always saying 63,492 while it was 632,492 somehow this stood out alot sorry for ranting btw

her whole kit is a confusing mess, mislead too many peaople into trying her for the distributed damage since we already have 2 units doing the same and they both perform well

that was pretty rough. it doesn't take much to outdo 2B but damn even in manual control Trony barely makes it and 2B is in full auto

Im kinda glad she is definitely an skip since we are recovering from half anni and summer nikkes are right around the corner. Although i had hopes she was a min/max nikke for solo raid on element advantage. But performing worse than 2b is eunhwa level bad.

no lol just use tia/naga/liter/maxwell/laplace. replace Laplace with Epinel for AOE clear sometimes.
@@skyjlv i think people underrate the maxwell laplace combo. always seeing people disregard it or want to replace it. laplace is honestly a good unit and with treasures itll be even more apparent.

I was willing to give Shift-Up the benefit of the doubt, but upon their update this morning, it's clear that Trony is a broken unit whose skill have anti-synergy. The fact that her sk2 increases the dmg cap of her sk1, when she already has a hard time reaching the cap, it dumb. It also means that Elegg, her own teammate, is the last person she'd want to team up with. The concept of Cumulative dmg is fine, but if you're gonna give it interaction like that, it can't have duration. It needs to stay on a target until the cap is reached and the bubble pops. Is that good for mobs? No, but she was clearly designed to be used on bosses, so it's irrelevant.
Man, I'm all for the devs experimenting, but this was so stupid and a waste of resources. I'm glad we got the skill resets, but all that gear EXP and rocks lost...

that skill 2 doesnt make any sense, based on the description, i thought it would mean whatever the amount u end up bursting with, the 632492 that u had, would be multiplied by the 51.84% (assuming lv 10), so its basically like atk dmg +. i dont understand why its just raising the CAP of skill 1, thats so stupid

You're right it makes NO sense, skill 2 is the sole (hehe) reason I thought she might be a genuinely decent option. Honestly it feels like it's bugged.

I appreciate you saying that you should not pull her at the beginning of the video, but the crux is that it gives no incentive to further watch the video. Knowing that you put alot of hours into testing and theory crafting this I just thought to myself I wouldnt mind if you said to not pull her at the end of the video.

pretty sure you're meant to get her high enough charge speed during burst so she full charges 5 times instead of 4 per rotation of s1 and then she pumps. i don't have the resources so i won't be pulling but most likely someone will post a vid of that setup with insane results.

I just find it hilarious that their justification for the recent changes to SR/RL full charge is to "make it easier for auto players" and then they release this character that requires annoying full charge/fast charge gameplay. Imagine doing this while having to deal with annoying SR mechanics as well. Fuck that shit.
I'd rather eat my foot, than considering pulling for Trony's.
