A person can spend 7 hours in a salon for a simple relax and cut. Braids would be and all day/all night event with the stylist eating, talking on phone, etc.

I live in the U.S. and I love multiple people doing my hair. I get done faster that way. I request two braiders as soon as I sit in the chair and would be thrilled to have more. That ombre style and the silky hair are my favorites.

I love your work, but no two hands are alike! Ive had two braiders before and I didn't like the experience( it was smothering, pushing and pulling), and I didn't like all the conversation around my crown. To each their own though. Beautiful braid work. 🤩

But some people have superstitions but I will say if someone has multiple stylist that’s fine but if one stylist doesn’t know what their doing and doesn’t know someone’s hair history they can definitely damage the clients hair. So yes braids for sure if you can do 10 clients in a days With four or more that’s more money and someone would come to you over one stylist their seating with for 9 hours.

It's a superstition that we grew up with, I am 53 yes old and was taught that as a liite girl, funny thing is even though we complain about the time in the chair with one braider, we will not let more than one person in our hair at a time... We basically don't schedule anything else for that day because we know we will be there all day. It's an African American thing thats taken serious... Some people laugh about it...

Sis, we’re are you getting your done? I’m based in nyc. It take them 4 hours. 3.5 sometimes. You need a better braider
