More than 10 years ago, when my children were young, I used to host holidays at my house on my full size pool table in the basement! My husband and son made a wood topper that would stay on the table from Thanksgiving through Christmas. My mother-in-law and I made a custom tablecloth for it and we regularly had over 30 people at the table for holiday dinner. My husband would take it apart and store it during the year to reassemble the following. We used to joke all the time about the fancy eat’n table referencing an episode from that old show, “The Beverly Hillbillies “.

if you did the pulley system, it might be cool to have lights somehow mounted underneath the topper so that people can play at night! idk if that is even possible, but if anyone can figure it out, you guys can 👍🏼

Nice but I'm going to make mine with hinges on the side so it folds off of as well as if I have to put a break in the middle what is added the peace to the Middle instead of the side but you did a fantastic job making urs
