So how was the the license plate bracket fabricated? How hard was it to remove the front reflectors? What were the Honda rubber lever tips for? Thanks for your time.

The bracket was made by using a piece of plexiglass. Cut to the shape of the license plate, sand the corners round, etc. Once you remove the old giant bracket there is still a small attachment point on the fender, with holes. May not be necessary, but I used rubber grommets to mount the plexiglass to the fender, to cut down on vibration. With that in place, mount the actual license plate to the plexiglass and trim it with a license frame. Actually really easy and nothing permanent that cant be undone later if you want. The front reflectors are just stuck on with double-sided tape. They peel off with a little prying. The rubber tips are purely aesthetic, although they do protect a bit if you bump into something. Honda's from the early days had these tips so it is just part of the vintage look, as are the fork boots.

Really good lookin CB! I hope you still have it! I just picked up my CB500 bars today, but the Bikemaster mirrors are on back order. Did you polish the outter rims and your head pipes? They look shiney!

Didn't do anything to the rims. The header pipes I did (and do) polish. They tarnish from riding so have to be redone fairly frequently. I use a little soap and water with very fine steel wool to get all the tarnish off. Then I polish them by hand with product called Wenol. I have used it for years, but I am sure any good metal polish would do the trick.

what type of handle bars are those? they look better than stock. Hard to swap?

+Eduardo Aguirre - The handlebars are off of the recent CB500F. Part Number is 53100-MGX-306. You can get them from your Honda dealer, but I got mine from Motosport.com. They make a great choice if you are looking for a lower option, and being a Honda OEM part, they are painted with the exact same black/gray paint as on the engine. That, and your stock bar end weights fit right in.
The swap isn't hard. You do have to drill new holes in the bars for the positioning pins that are inside your switch control housings, on both the left and right side. The switchgear on the CB500F are apparently different so the stock holes don't line up with the CB1100 switch gear.

+Eduardo Aguirre - Before you ask, the mirrors are "BikeMaster Old School Tube Mirrors", part number KS-A46B off Amazon. They pivot on both ends, so you can lower them down as close to the bars as you like. I was worried that with both pivots they may not be stable. Not the case as they are rock solid.

+Eduardo Aguirre - Don't know if you saw my other video after the exhaust swap, but I HIGHLY recommend the Tadao PowerBox exhaust. th-cam.com/video/waueJp0gi2Y/w-d-xo.html
