Carson Wentz, Ryan Tannehill, Kirk Cousins; get destroyed in sports media. Former Eagles QB Ron Jaworski, crushed by fans and media. I wish I hadn’t bit on your race base evaluation. Sorry and peace.
Probably because Kirk has 7 4000 yard seasons, something that has been done only once in Eagles history by a QB the fanbase hates. He also has more passing TDs in a single season than the Eagles record. All of that in rosters that doesn't come close to the current Eagles roster. But if you ask me, would I rather have Cousins right now? No, I would rather have the Cousins from 2 years ago with this roster playing the regular season and then Foles or even Hurts to play in the playoffs.
@ all those stats and he’s still a loser. 😂😂 you all don’t like Jalen and his style of play. Just say that. If it’s not a pocket passer dropping back throwing 300 yards per game it hurts you.
@@D878D5g7 You're not entirely wrong. But am I wrong for wanting more for this team? My favorite Eagles QB since the 2000s is Michael Vick and since he retired I have never seen a QB with his talent as a passer AND a runner. I love a dual threat QB that can improvise as a passer FIRST and gimmicky runner second. So you're right in a sense, after watching McNabb, Vick and Wentz it's just disappointing to watch a QB throwing for less than 200yds with 20 attempts most of his career. But hey, maybe what I find fun to watch isn't what the team needs. I'm open to that. Ultimately what I want is for the Eagles to win Superbowls, plural. If Hurts is the guy that gets us 2, 3, 4 SBs, then I'll be happy to watch boring QB play. Unless he can become the QB he was against the Steelers again, that QB I find very entertaining.
@@dedios03 Yea I don't get it either. Everybody (including Jalen) are like "See? We can do it when we want to", so is he implying they didn't want to do it against the Panthers or the Buccs? Truth is that sometimes we gotta babysit this team, otherwise they get too complacent and "lost" in their own talent without realizing they have a lot more potential.
@@D878D5g7 I mean at this point you should've learned something from last season. Or even our neighbors (Cowboys) who are fine with going 12-5 every season and losing the same way in the playoffs. The record doesn't mean anything without context attached to it. It's only enough when the confetti falls and an Eagles player is holding the trophy. Aside from that, yea... the best Eagles roster ever and one of the best rosters in the league playing like they did since 2023 was a severe case of underachieving.
I'm not sure the 2022 team is better than this team. in 2022, the Eagles had alot of backup QBs on the schedule that the defense feasted on, then played the Giants, and a QB-less 49ers in the playoffs. They held their own in the SB, but they had a pretty easy road to get there. We'll see how the next month goes for this team!
I agree. To me the 2022 team is A LOT better than 2017 but slightly "less good" than the current roster. In 2022 I remember feeling that we weren't tested the entire season and was genuinely worried we wouldn't look like we "belong" in the same field as the Chiefs. It felt great to see they were for real but at the same time it felt weird that that comfirmation only came in the Superbowl.
@Ocean5ix the defense finally got exposed in the Superbowl too. Since the shitty field nullified the pass rush, the lack of secondary talent was revealed.
John you obviously don't remember the 2007 New England Patriots team if you think they were the greatest team you ever saw. They were great their first 8 games but their last 8 they were far from great, heck the NY Giants almost beat them the last game of the year and so it wasn't a surprise when they beat them in the Super Bowl. They had quite a number of close games down the stretch the only big blowouts they had were against the teams in their own division which by the way was the worst in the NFL that year. Pick any team who won the Super Bowl between 1982 - 2001 no matter who it is and they were better than the 2007 Patriots. They were the most overrated team in NFL history and the lost in the Super Bowl proved it.
It’s funny how they never wanna blame the white qb but the black gets all the blame if he fails
Jordan Love,CJ Stroud and Pat Mahomes; white or black QBs?

You can not underestimate the locker room.
John “on the eagles payroll” McMullen on the case again.
I can't stand punk ass John McMullen he is a moron ..I don't know who made him an authority on anything
Like Kirk but hate on Jalen. I wonder why…

@@Ocean5ixwrong answer, try again!!!
Media better create drama every week because apparently that's what makes Jalen play well.
Yeah I know people mad at this and im like yesss😂 they are so good they need motivation to play hard and not get bored lol

They had good players last year, and they were talented last year. A broken locker room can exist. You should be better than that, Johnny Mac
