Fabulous Ferryside Tandem Ride

Today's ride see us taking Tilly on a trip to Ferryside, Carmarthenshire.
It was an absolute perfect day for a bike ride as you will see.
This is one of the longest 'local' cycle rides that we have done lately as we cycled from home rather than drive to North Dock or Burry Port and depart from there.
We always meet people who are interested in our Tandem, especially when they realise it is an e-tandem. One of the biggest questions we get asked is "how far will the battery take you"? The answer obviously depends on what power settings are used but as a rule of thumb, level 1 assistance will give us a range of about 120 miles. We have cycled some really hilly terrain and used all 5 power settings and still had over half the battery left at the end of our trips.
We tend not to use any power assistance on the flat as the bike itself has excellent coasting capabilities and we are trying to get fitter any way.
