📜 Storyline:
Outside, the first drops of rain fall gently in the wind as you recline on the sofa accompanied by your books and the sleeping kitten. Autumn is almost over and you are eagerly awaiting the arrival of your favorite season: winter. The rain outside falls gently through the window as you retreat to your favorite secret nook of the house, sheltered from the storm you so love to watch. The rain sounds help you relax and the feeling that comes with it is inexplicable, leaving you peaceful and full of happiness in your heart.

My sister was kind to leave me a pot of tea. The trip into town was wet and foggy. I am grateful she and my brother-in-law have this home out in the woods. Makes it less likely that I will be in a place to be noticed, as opposed to living in a town or city.
And the view out this small window looks through the trees and into the solitude, with only the occasional deer or fox nosing around.
The kitty has been a comfort, as I miss my daughter. When I came into the nook this evening, she looked up from the bed and gave a soft meow, then returned to her slumbers.
I wonder if my daughter is as comfortable in that boarding school in France. I do not like being so far from her, but right now, it is safer that she is there and I am here.
As soon as I am called, I will return to Europe. I would like to have purchased a place in the States for us to live. My darling girl would have enjoyed the forests and small towns. It is a crowded city where she now boards.
Ah, but a young lady needs her peers and the exposure and training the city can give her.
And I would settle down, only to be called away again...

The tea was her left overs; still.. how kind. The trip into town was worthy of weather small talk with the locals. My sister and brother-in-law are wondering how often I will crash their pad in the woods. The home is but a quarter mile from a 7-11, as opposed to living in a larger city, where there would be an actual liquor store the same distance.
The kitty is a comfort, other than the smell of ripe urine and uncovered piles of doo; When will my sister and brother-in-law attend to this? I miss my daughter, for she could take this upon herself as a chore.
I wonder if my daughter is as comfortable in that boarding school in France; as comfortable as I am, freeloading here. I do not like being so far from her, but she is safer being around responsible folk.
As soon as I am called, I will procrastinate my responsibilities to pay rent in Europe. I would have liked to purchase a place for us to live, in the States; but that costs money.
My darling girl would have enjoyed the forests and small towns, iPad in hand. Ah but a young lady needs her peers, exposure to social media, and the training that filling a minimum wage job tends to.

drippy rain, cozy interior, soft lighting, tucked under stairs but has a window, soft pillows, lots of books, a steaming teapot…and a snoozing kitty! Thank you for pulling all of these details together!
Note-The worst things to me are the rain videos that sound like bacon frying (nothing but hiss)😖
AND oversized drops hitting the window like gallon bombs!! 😂
The oversized droplets in other videos are the WORST.
My favorite is when theres like 4 windows in view and all of them have still images from locations that don't even match up AND are at an angle that makes my brain hurt, while also having oversize rain droplets and an animated cat that is just a very poorly made gif with a 30sec loop. (9/10 times they sound like the deep fryer was turned to max and had water thrown in for added effect.)

You live in a basement type room with your sister and her husband they live upstairs and your room is an interesting one the bed is in between the stairs
and a wall you have shelves on each side with books, lamps, pictures, etc,
next to the bed is a chair and a table with a tv set, across from the foot of
the stairs is a small but nice bathroom, you have your meals upstairs with
your sister and brother in law....
You have been living outside the states for quite a while and you haven't been able to find your own place and can't afford it so you stay with your sister and her husband and her four children are now grown living elsewhere with their
own families and you work at a local security business and make enough money but you haven't found your own place yet, but you like it here and after traveling around the world and working for a global security company your glad to be back with your family again....
Your sisters pet cat has taken up with you and spends more time with you down here, this room was actually a storage room and it's rather small but you like it and it is raining tonight and you like rainy days and nights but you prefer the rain back here at home from the rain in the other countries that you lived in in those places you didn't get to know anyone for very long as your work took you from
place to place you lived temporarily in such places as London, England for
four years, Antwerp, Belgium for two years, Milan, Italy for a year, Amsterdam, the Netherlands for a year and then Tallinn, Estonia where you were the longest ten years where you now have an ex wife and a eight year old daughter....
But now your back home in the states after so long and laying here in a small room with a cat while it's raining outside bringing back your memories of those
countries and the people you've met and most importantly your daughter
oh you'll go back soon as your job may have you traveling again but for now
your back home for awhile and you keep in touch with your daughter via cell phone and the internet of course....
It's late and after reflecting on your past you look out at the rain falling and
you can hear it hitting the roof and also the purring of your sisters cat Spiffy
and you slowly drift off to sleep, g'night y'all and take care.

For me the key ingredient is Opioids... they allow me to lucid dream so that I can actually imagine myself in such a cozy and comfortable bedroom while it rains outside. Maybe if I can get possession of drugs with less potential harm, that would be a major improvement

@@stephanymurdy3165 Thanks… well it’s been more than a year since I posted this comment…actually I think it’s a case of starting out from the strongest painkillers to the weaker ones… makes OxyContin look almost over the counter. Despite all the times anesthesiologists gave me pep talk on what potentially might happen, I forgot to ask what am I taking pre surgery… except once… It always included fentanyl. Once the drugs are active, it felt like a long video game play thru or tv miniseries with a touch of lucid dreaming. Am I addicted? No, but based on how many tubes were used and deteriorating organs and tissues, I might have to undergo more surgeries. It’s my theory that for every few persons living on the streets due to drug abuse, there’s a person who’s minimally affected by drugs. I am that exception because it takes some good drugs to balance out ulcers, tumors, organ and tissue failure, etc. Hypermeditation and lucid dreaming, I presume are just added bonuses. 🤔🤔🤔
