She's using being hot to her advantage but she knows what she is doing. She explains succinctly what she is doing and very obviously does all the work. She's smart and figured out an easy way to make money by doing her hobbies... I also appreciate the short videos and cutting out all the dead air/ filler talk that's unnecessary and seems to be especially present in the how to video world.

Normally I would agree with maintaining natural wood look however pine is the only kind of wood that I use I would consider painting. I had a friend ask for my help with a project. I saw him painting mahogany. I was so angry I just walked away.

I just can't. I found the Pub Table video where she showed the most effective way to remove fingers from hands. I thought "Sure, I get it. A pretty lady doing shop work. Okay." but now the script is too much. Inside the first minute and a half we have exceptional camera work, the down blouse shots, the butt shot, the side boob shot. Anything that involves her hands the camera pulls back just enough to make sure a bewb is in there.....and the script.... "You can use a hard wood if you want.", "Fill all the cracks with wood filler before you do anything with the legs", "Wasnt that fun? Everyone Looooooves pocket holes." Now don't get me wrong. I'm subscribed - you got me.

I usually think, why not mention the dimensions. She mentioned the dimensions as she was doing it. Cool right? But I found it hard to focus on anything. Especially when she said something like, "easy to rap around the legs" or "wasn't that fun, I love pocket holes"!!! Imagine working with her

DAP Plastic Wood is better for filling the cracks and splits on 4x4s etc, than regular wood filler.
You also would have been better off biscuit joining the boards for the shelves and top.

Well, if you're serious...if this is untreated pine, you're going to need to seal the wood before you put any finish on it, so the pitch doesn't bubble up under the paint and spoil it. And when you attach the top, you sure can't do it that way unless you're prepared for it to warp, bow, or split. There's no allowance for expansion and contraction during seasonal changes with three solid mounting points across. Get a basic woodworking book from the library - there are a lot of ways to take care of the top mounting.
It called red hot builder for a reason. If it was just for how to build a table the camera wouldnt be pointed down so often🙂
