Faison was hugely under-rated on Scrubs, where his comic acting was light as air and fascinating to observe. Someone give this man more strong material, please, so he can do his thing.
I've just spent the last three hours watching these wonderful Speakeasy episodes. Man, Paul. You are seriously the best. I didn't even know all these celebrities and I was enthralled the whole time. Cheers!
I love hearing this guy talk. I first saw him on the movie "waiting to exhale" and then on Scrubs. The friendship between him and the character JD was so cool. The unbothered suttled but direct references to anything gay was always a laugh for me. I hate the show was cancelled. He didnt mind showing off his "asssssests" and he had and still has one of the most beautiful smile and teeths. just love to hear him talk and smile! great guy!
This interview with Donald was delightful to watch. 💙 I was hoping "Scrubs" would be mentioned, but fair enough because his career includes a lot more than that.
Interviewing is truly a lost art, that Paul seems to have mastered. I’d love to see longer interviews, but it’s the perfect snippet leaving you wanting more👍🏽
Sure, Paul is an American treasure. Yes, their guests are amazing. But truly my favorite part of the show is you don't hear the sound of the drinks pouring. That'd be a game changer.
Anyone else wearing that mustache & pink bow-tie would come off as a pretentious douche hipster, but somehow PFT not only pulls it off, but makes me like the look. If it was anything less than honest love of old-timey fashion, any hint of forced irony, and it would loose that exception, but you have to love genuine passion. And is it me, or does his fashion seem to add to the way he speaks and his brand of humor. I am starting to think PFT is the character, and he is Frank Doyle IRL.
Don has eyebrows thought only possible in CGI game characters. Moreover, bring the eyebrows together, and it serves as the bat signal. (HERE'S the trippy part) Now, go look at Zach Braff's eyebrows. WTF?
Confused by why someone as successful as Donald Faison would need one act Wayne Knight and not funny but loud Kristen Johnston to bring him up. Odd question from the interviewer.
Does Donald Faison play League of Legends?!? Cause he referenced the term "Stay in my lane" which although commonly used is known for being used in game.
I assume he's half black and half white although he is married to a pure white woman which is beautiful he's almost a young Obama and a real life Prince Naveen combined
@@kelseyhaight4015 assuming he's half black/white because he's a lighter shade of black, what does "pure white woman" even mean, the only comparisons you could find are a former president and a fictional disney character (who was voiced by a white guy) it's the polite kind of racist that isn't necessarily harmful in it's intent, but the ignorance is beyond apparent
I wasnt fishing but i like what i cought!
That line cracked me up! This guy is awesome xD
Turk and JD in a buddy cop movie, but in character.
That would be hysterical!
OMG That would be amazing!!! Somebody pitch it to them lol 😊
This
I would watch the shit out of that
In Threat Level Midnight fashion
Faison was hugely under-rated on Scrubs, where his comic acting was light as air and fascinating to observe. Someone give this man more strong material, please, so he can do his thing.
Donald seems like an amazingly fun guy just to be around. Great interview.

Top tier show
This cat is a top tier interviewer.

1:45 did he just say "y'knowwhatI'msayin'?" TURK.
I think he did but stopped himself a little when he realised :p
And a little bit at 4:43
"Well, I wasn't fishing but I like what I caught."
PFT needs a television show pronto.
I love both of these men very much.
"Well i wasnt fishing but I like what I caught" im using that
I think Donald should do a serious thriller movie. It would be dope to see him in a role like that.
Love these interviews. Absolutely love them. Keep up the good work
I've got much respect for this interviewer! Real original! Plus, just like Bill Nye, he's bringin' back the Bow Tie!!! lol
+kparker1145 He is a delight.
This interview with Donald was delightful to watch. 💙 I was hoping "Scrubs" would be mentioned, but fair enough because his career includes a lot more than that.

Paul's "Don't you dare shut your eyes!" was amazing.
That Aladdin reference was so quick!!!
These interviews really deserve more views
Awesome interview! Donald seems like a really nice guy :)
Chocolate Bear?
Mocha cub?
Little gherkin?
Turkleton?
Ghandi?

Hollywoo stars and celebrities, what do they know? Do they know things? Let's find out! Today we have Donald Faison!
I came to comments to find out if he was Mr Peanutbutter
SO THAT'S WHY HIS VOICE IS SO FAMILIAR!!!!
He does stop motion and interns for it in his down time? Stop MY HEART!
Daaaamn Turkle dog!
Man, I totally heard Kelso's voice.
Turk Turkleton!
Gandhi
Donald is the realest.

he might be the handsomest man alive
Ok that sounded like a threat. It will be a fully consensual hug.
I understand going 2 times to the same movie on the same day!
I went twice on the same day to see the Matrix Reloaded.
Pimp of laughter, holy shit that sounds badass.
Where is this beautiful bar? I imagine that it smells like fresh cut mahogany.
With many leather bound books
this is so great
"I don't know what "it" is....but he's go it."
2:41 Paul F Tompkins turns into Mr. Peanutbutter
You're killing me Petey!
It seems like length is somewhat proportionate to the guests' wit.
What a compliment to Dennis Miller!
9:25 YYAASS
No idea that Faison was this cool.
whats the little song in the beginning?
Wow ... admitting to see Iron Man 3 twice. That's balls.
Chocolate Bear!!!
YEEEEAH!!! California Raisons!
I like the interviewer. that is how you do it. except ice in scotch. that is just wrong.
Max Aggropop one ice cube dude, that’s what you gotta do
Sure, Paul is an American treasure. Yes, their guests are amazing.
But truly my favorite part of the show is you don't hear the sound of the drinks pouring. That'd be a game changer.
Donald Faison should be in more "serious" Movies
His teeth are glorious.
omg I love you both for bringing up the California Raisin xmas special, it is such an underappreciated work of art
his hair and voice, I'm just seeing Dennis Miller in the 80s
Am I crazy or is Paul sitting on the "Guest" side relative to the bar.?
I believe both pronunciations are acceptable. :)
I like Paul Tompkins, but it has to be embarrassing to interview a celebrity and not be aware that his current project has already premiered.
Lance Steel his reaction of exaggerated shock saved it though
Holy shit, just casually talking about being sexually assaulted.

Crossing streams at 2:55

"I've seen both Andys."

Is it just me or are these getting shorter?
It comes from cars on the road, then went to sports, then e-sports...
PFT is in his mid 40's?!!! How hard is he dieting? Looking slim and trim!
Don has eyebrows thought only possible in CGI game characters. Moreover, bring the eyebrows together, and it serves as the bat signal. (HERE'S the trippy part) Now, go look at Zach Braff's eyebrows. WTF?
Black Stormtrooper? Donald Faison is Finn's father confuurmd.
Tom Gallagher - The Comic Book Cast finns father is lando
Whenever he talks, all I hear is Toots.
"when does that premier" "it premiered already" criiiinge
Confused by why someone as successful as Donald Faison would need one act Wayne Knight and not funny but loud Kristen Johnston to bring him up. Odd question from the interviewer.
158.799
say puppet department
where the fuck can you see a movie for $7.50 anymore?
where is he paying $7.50 for an opening show?
orlando
Prank shows are SO 2013......oh.
Does Donald Faison play League of Legends?!? Cause he referenced the term "Stay in my lane" which although commonly used is known for being used in game.
The common American pronunciation is nitch
Well the worst drama Donald's ever been in was Skyline. That movie was pretty shitty.
does he say 'nitch' instead of niche at about 8 minutes? uh ohhh
Didn't even bring up Scrubs? This was a waste of time.
the english pronounce it 'neesh' while most americans say 'nitch'
sounds a lot like "impractical jokers", sorry.
FIRST
Nobody cares
I assume he's half black and half white although he is married to a pure white woman which is beautiful he's almost a young Obama and a real life Prince Naveen combined
Kelsey Haight this is highly racist
oh well it's nell I'm not being racist really you're making a big mistake
Not necessarily. African Americans come in all shades.

Both of his parents are Black. However, his father is very light.
