Yes! Today's skating is really athletic skating. A different animal. No less than classic figure skating. Ought to b a separate sport. Skating figures integral to figure skating. How can one b an Olympic & World Champion & not have mastered the school figures? Think of a letter written in flowing cursive vs. that same letter produced by a printer. That's where the sport now is. ⛸️🎵
Incredible performance, probably the best I have ever seen, but why couldn't the commentators keep quiet? Everyone could see what she was doing, do we really have to have all the technicalities pointed out to us.
