I think you'd enjoy listening to Haley Reinhart - particularly any of her recordings with Postmodern Jukebox. Every vocal technique and trick you can think of, she's pretty much got it mastered.
This warmup has such great potential if it were clear (vocal is too quiet and would make a huge difference if it were same volume as the piano), succinct, and to the point, if it were redone to fulfill the above my daughter and would use it everyday... it really is one of the most effective warmups ive come across, keep up the great work
I love these! But it’s weird how a few weeks ago I could get to the highest key… now I can only get so far😭 can anyone explain why that may be? It didn’t feel strained when I got that high but now it does.
Thanks for this video. Few things. I feel like you were speaking a little lower and the piano was a lot louder. When I turn on the volume, the piano sounds get even louder and you still sound a bit low! Also it helps to add subs as I can't understand some of these exercises.
As a non-singer/ musician, I’ve always appreciated your gracious and knowledgeable analysis. I’m a new fan of Sam Cieri of Nicotine Dolls who has many people wildly enthusiastic due to his powerful and emotional delivery, and tonal quality. (He’s gotten more notice since getting 3 yes’s and competing briefly on AGT. ) Having listened to many of his videos I hear a big change in his voice over the years, and would be fascinated by your analysis. I question if his vocal approach is sustainable, which is worrisome because he’s a wonderful artist. There is only one other voice coach who’s analyzed him, and he was ungracious and not well-received. In short, I’d love to hear your take on a few of his videos. (It might take a few because he has a wide variety in how he approaches material, from delicate, falsetto, raw, loud to screaming, gravelly, raspy, etc.).
I would do anything for a vid like this put with raye🥺 live {tiny desk, oscar winning tears live, five star high hotel march 17 toronto} pleaseeeeeeeeeee
It’s great to see you posting! Speaking of judges on the voice, you’d be awesome! 👍🧐
Thank you for this. I really needed this. It pushed me especially on the high notes.
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and talent here! 💝

I was looking for inspiration in warming up and LOOOOOOOOVED this warm up! Thank you for assembling and sharing!
So I tried this and woooooof that was something. I kept losing track of the tune on the longer ones
I’m so glad you tried it! I’ve always loved your singing voice. Those long scales are difficultly level high!
